I was blessed to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary with my husband and a small group of friends at a party we hosted in our home last night. We dug out old pictures, cards and, yes, love letters from through the years. It was a great opportunity to look back at where we've come and appreciate our journey. Like everyone, we've had some rough times, but we've been incredibly blessed with family, jobs, health and friends. As one friend commented last night, the ability to look beyond ourselves, to laugh and share together, strengthens us.
I've cut ties with some major players in my life which continues to sadden me, but as I looked around the room, I realized how privileged I was to have such a wonderful mix of friends from all ages and walks of life - including all of you. Like George Bailey, regardless of my bank account, I feel like the richest [man] in town.
family,
my f-list is better than your f-list,
