... They go to the pub

Aug 15, 2005 02:16

It's been a while.

Went to Ross's 21st which was much fun, its nice to just relax and have some fun every now and then. Partying with the gays was hilarious fun and something that should happen more often. Oh, I pulled a lesbian also. She was a hardcore lesbian. Real hardcore. She just couldn't resist my charm. What can I say? Honest :)

Spent most of the rest of the time "working my arse off" down the pub, which to be fair is a pretty fun time but sometimes its hard pouring drinks whilst everyone else is having the fun. Still, I get to work with some lurvly peoples and get the odd bit of time off. Spending said time off drinking myself into oblivion probably isn't ideal but at the same time leads to much shenanigans.

I'm missing 4 hours of my life and I want them back...

Other than that, fairly bored. Missing my Ross, Maddie's somewhere in Spain (probably fainting). I'm thinking I perhaps need to spend less money on beer/whiskey, and more on cool things like clothes or holidays or anything that doesn't come with a % abv.

I just found a record by a (I'm sure) perfectly upstanding young gentleman known only as "Lucas". It appears to be some crazy jazz flavoured hip-hop and it is actually quite funky. Last time I was in the Bandbox (frightingly recently) I have a vague memory of something about banana's but it could all have been a dream. Gwen Stefani springs to mind. Oh Ms. Stefani, why can't you forget you're weird jap-pop obsession and get back to some good old fashioned ska-with-make-up? Oh how I miss ye.

The straight-to-DVD Family Guy movie which, whilst not officially released for a few months yet, has quite loudly hit the internet is pretty damn good. Hopefully its release on the internet will not harm DVD sales enough to warrant Fox cancelling any further seasons (again) since it was DVD sales that brought the series back into production in the first place.
