Would you be open to being voted as characters who are not in your age range? Would you prefer to be voted as a character who is within your age range? I don't really mind. Just pick the best one who suits me :)
1. What are your three defining positive traits? Explain how you exhibit each trait in everyday life.
RESPONSIBLE: *If i have the abiliity to take action, i have the resonsibility to take action*. I'm really into the Performing arts. And my leadership skills and responsibility has landed me in such positions as directors for productions, dance and vocal captains, and stage managing.
NICE: I accept everyone, and feel everyone should be given a chance. I never get in arguments, but I still will stand firm in what i believe in when it is appropriate to take action. I'm quite polite, and a good listener and advice-giver.
INTELLIGENT: I have a very high average in school(Grade 11). But the performing arts isn't my only passion. I read quite often, and i am extremly interested in intellectual topics such as psychology, religion, and philosophy.
2. What are your three defining negative traits? Explain how you exhibit each trait in everyday life.
IMPATIENT: I like things to be done on-time. It's hard for me when i have to lead a situation and others just fool around. I like to stick to the matter-at-hand and not get side-tracked.
I LAUGH TOO MUCH: I guess this could fit into the good-traits or the bad ones. It's healthy to laugh.. which is good. But sometimes i just feel too happy. I'm quite an optimistic person. But when my friends are feeling sad, i kind of feel guilty. I think, "Should i be sad more often?". I know... it's confusing.
I DON'T LIKE THE PHONE: As weird as it sounds.. i hate talking on the phone just to 'talk'. I need to have a purpose when i speak on the phone.. like to make plans or something. But other than that.. i'd prefer the traditional one-on-one, or the more 'high tech' instant messaging.
3. If you were studying in Spence, which would be your favorite place? (By the lake, garden, church, caves, etc.) Why? The art room! I'd probably spend all my time there. I love to paint.
4. Would you have stolen the wine from the church in order to be in Felicity's group? Why or why not? If you weren't part of their crowd, what kind of clique would you be in, if any? Why? I probably wouldn't have. I could make better friends.. with the same interests as me, and people who wouldn't be so arrogant. MY current friends pretty much have the same interests as me, and are just as crazy as I am. I don't think i need to be accepted by anyone who are not my friends.
5. If the Door of Light were to appear in front of you and you were to go into the realms, what would you choose to do in them? What would they be like for you?A Theatre. The theatre from Phantom of the Opera*My obsession*.
I would get to dance, sing, and act! I would wear elaborate costumes, and experience standing ovations from my solos. It would be a dream come true.
6. Do you think the power of the realms should be shared by the members of the Order? Why or why not?Can't the Order just use the magic to see who can be trusted and who can not? I guess magic has limitations.. but i'm sure it could work. Then, they could see who could be trusted and thus, share the magic with them. There should be limitations.... but sharing is always nice. They should be more accepting and not close-minded.
7. If you were a woman living in the Victorian Era, what do you think your life would have been like based on how it is now, your ambitions, and place in society?Firstly, i would wear corsets all the time. I love them! It could go both ways.. i'd either be a bohemian, or a member of high-class society. If i begin an art career.. both painting, and on the stage, i could excell to be famous.. or be living as a bohemian. Either way would be fun. As long as i can still do what i love,and have amazing people to surround me, i'm happy.
8. If you were granted power by the realms and could use it inside and outside of the realms, what would you choose to do with it?Make the world understand.. just in general. There is so much arrogance in the world, and everyone needs to learn to be accepting and respectful of other people.
9. What is your favorite scene (A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels combined)? Why?Eep?! Do I have to choose? I think when Gemma gives Kartik the cricket bat. It was really sweet of her. And it showed (despite of her face-paced lifestyle) she still has a hint of romance in her. It's much like myself.
10. What is your favorite quote from the books? Why? Too many.. too many. The books are amazing.
11. Pick one character among Gemma, Felicity, Ann, and Pippa. Tell us what she (the character you chose) could have done differently. (We are sure you did not agree with their every action.)Gemma shouldn't have drank the absinthe when Simon offered it to her. She wants to be accepted, but she shouldn't have gone to those measures. I'm sure there was someway she could have refused the drink, but still been cool with simon.
12. Which A Great and Terrible Beauty/Rebel Angels older character would you consider as a good role model? Why?Miss Moore.. BEFORE they discovered her as Sarah Reese Toome. She was so nice, and artistic, and the kids could talk to her about anything. I have a teacher like that.. and she is the perfect role model. But luckily, she isn't some evil villian.
13. Sort these words in order of appeal to you: beauty - glory - security - power - wealth - self-fulfillment - freedom. Explain your answer. 1.Self-fullfillment(It gives you the motivation to succeed and be a happy person)
2. Freedom:Freedom to express, freedom to live.. without freedom, i'd feel tied down, unable to breathe.
3. Security: I need to fill like i'm safe, like i can go about my life without worrying about someone shooting me. Unfortunatly, today's society doesn't leave much room to feel safe.
4. Beauty: Every girl wishes to be beautiful. It's not the most important thing.. and who says it has to be physical? A beautiful personality works just as good. People say i'm beautiful.. but often, i let the flaws get the best of me.
5. Power: I like to feel in control.. but only when it is my responsibility. I don't like when other people step in when it isn't their place. Power should only be granted to those who are responsible, and deserving enough to obtain it.
6. Wealth: Yes, it buys you nice things.. but it won't solve all life's problems. If anything, it just makes people jealous of you, and makes you arrogant.
