Señorita, insisto en hablar con el capitán

Professor Contreras scowled that at me the other day in Spanish class. We are doing our unit on vacationing and such, and that is something you could say if you're way unhappy with your flight. I got excited because she called me captain. Thanks to Stacy for the accented Spanish letters... I couldn't find out how to do it on my own, so I stole them from her journal.

The past week or so has been pretty ho-hum. US history is shaping up to my favorite class... even though the class is too large for good discussion. The subject matter + Dr. McEuen still makes for a good time though. The more I think about it, the more I want to be a history professor. Anyway, other classes are going alright as well. None of my classes this semester really catch my fancy, which is a shame.

I witnessed an altercation at the Broadway crosswalk today. A car stopped to let pedestrians go, and the car behind him got pissed. They yelled at each other, got out of their cars, got back in, kept yelling, then got out again. At that point, fisticuffs became involved. Nothing way serious, but it drew a crowd. Aw, why can't we all just get along?

A strange thing has been happening to me this semester. I've been sleeping less (around 7 hours per night), yet waking up feeling more rested than last semester. I've resumed my daily nap routine, which is what I think is doing it. The world would be a better, happier place if everyone took a 30 minute nap everyday.

Well, I think I'm gonna go to bed. Ohhh, you know what is great? Tropicana Pink Lemonade. I've been buying that in alarming quantities recently. I swear, that stuff is liquid crack.
