Actually, I have no idea what November 5th does to me. I do know that later in this month, Mom cooks a large amount of delicious food for no apparent reason. Boy am I looking forward to that! Funny how eating preferences change as you get older... first you start to like dinner more than dessert (though I still loves me some peanut butter pie and Jello... not together though), then you begin to prefer eating home cooked food over restaurant food. I've been craving lasagna recently. Kinda like Garfield I suppose.
Speaking of Garfield, I've got a hankerin' for some old school TV. I was reminded of this when my friend recently bought season two of "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" recently. They need to release some other shows on DVD: "Salute Your Shorts", "Rocko's Modern Life", and "Legends of the Hidden Temple"... damn those shows were cool. A lot better then the trash that is on TV now.
You know what two foods are good together? Macaroni and cheese on a bagel. That dish started as a desperation move due to the lack of food in the house, but was absolutely delicious. I can heartily recommend that to anyone.
You know what I've been wanting to do recently? Go hiking at Natural Bridge. How weird is that? I'm not normally a fan of the physical activity, but I have had the strangest urge to do that recently. We did that on our manager retreat, and it was quite amusing. Anyways, I know it's a long shot... but if anyone decides to do that in the near future, let me know! I'll come along! Perhaps I'll even bring mac and cheese bagels! Sounds like a recipe for a fun time.
