it's autumn!
I love autumn, love love love. Despite its affiliation with the start of school, I love the slight chill in the air, seeing the leaves gradually turn, even the air smells different. I used to love summer best, naturally, b/c there was no school and pool/becah = awesome. But fall is just cool. I love when it's windy and all the fallen leaves swirl around, and the leaves are all flame-colored. I love the fall. I also think autumn sounds prettier than fall, but i use both.
I also love SPN, for all of it's awesomeness. Especially Castiel.
This weekend I am going to Celtic Fest in Bethlehem, which hopefully will have good weather. Last weekend Ryan visited and we went to the TLA and saw the Kin and Rusted Root, which was fun. Though I much preferred the Kin, so perhaps I will go to their show Oct 8 - who wants to go?
I also went to ebonaskavi's new apartment for the house-warming party. It was a good time and great to see Darren and Lynn again! Minor drama with the drunken bf, will have to learn to start cutting off the beer supply sooner. Sunday was spent working on my take-home midterm for my grad class, and then hanging out watching football with friends. All in all, a good weekend.
Let's see, other than that, September has been uneventful. I visited Lehigh to hang out with Grace, and so I got to see a bunch of the PsiU boys and party a bit. Though I did get asked if I was a freshman... sigh. My youthful good looks are perhaps slightly *too* youthful. I also saw the movie 9 which I enjoyed but felt it lacked in the plot and character development area. And that about sums up September, beyond work and classes and squee-ing over the new season of SPN. And Bones, although I have to watch tonight's still b/c I was in class and my mommy taped it for me.
Oh, and it is the 250th anniversary celebration of Guinness today! I had a pint as I watched SPN, b/c such an occasion could not go un-celebrated. Yay Guinness.
And I can get a new cell phone tomorrow! Exciting. Must go at lunch tomorrow.
