(no subject)
Boo Mondays. On the upside, it is now over and I got a free lunch b/c some more interns started today. And one of them was my TA for ECE 162! My manager told me to stop by and meet some of the interns who were in the group and lo and behold, one was my TA. But other than that, it was a v. boring day. And it rained, although I couldn't see it b/c they have giant blinds on every window.
I went up to CT this weekend to see Ryan. I left Friday after work and got stuck in ridiculously bad traffic and was quite irritated, but I made it there in a bit more than 4 hours. I went to his friend's sister's graduation party with him, which was ok. Except for the giant bugs of doom that attacked me and left with about a dozen large itchy welts on my legs. And my face, although they are much less noticable, thank God. We saw Knocked Up, cute and funny movie that I quite enjoyed. And yesterday we went out to lunch and went mini-golfing, which I was owning at until Hole 14, and then I was sondly defeated. But it was fun. And I made amazing time getting home.
My room is really messy. One of these weekends when I'm home, I have to do major cleaning. It's that stuff has once again, begun accumulating. My parents keep asking what I want for my birthday, and I keep telling them I don't need more stuff. I hope they do not buy me random things for the sake of it, b/c most of the time that ends up going to the goodwill store. Maybe I will ask for a nice computer chair. Oh, that is actually kind of an awesome idea. And maybe one of those little filing cabinets b/c right now I tend to keep my papers in a large box. Which is not v. organized.
I am going to Wildwood this weekend with the family. Which will be fine, I'm sure, but was not my ideal idea of my 21st birthday. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait til next weekend. My life is kind of boring. That makes me sad.
