So it's week two of his year long project and already there's so much drama going around that it's practically malleable. Apparently there are some huge layoffs coming to PLLC and it's got everyone nervous - to the point that many people are already packing there more fragile desk decorations and taking them home. It's a little frightening knowing that despite the number of years of hard work and dedication there is still the chance that you will be laid off. :( A long time ago there once was a boy named Andrew who thought corporate life would be this wonderful magical blessing. He died. Or grew up, I can't decide which is the more appropriate analogy...
On the plus side, the project is going well, but a lot longer than I anticipated. The initial action item I was given is to collate data from three different spreadsheets and put them into an easy to read spreadsheet. Simple in nature but exceedingly tedious in execution. I definitely enjoy the perks of working on this project though. The hours, the lack of a uniform, NOT being in a little hovel underground. So on and so forth...
One final thing. I realize it's tedious for all of you to hear me beat this dead horse into even more death....but Mike. I'm hung up. I know I am. And I still feel myself attracted to the unobtainable. Can someone get me a psych major to tell me what the frack is wrong with me??
Plus side to all this? New Girl was free on iTunes last night!!! Snagged me a copy and cracked up apprpriately!
"Jess is by far the best person I know. So if you guys let anything happen to her, I will come back here and crazy murder you."
