So I passed my Real Estate exam. I found out yesterday after my mom woke me up around 8:30 in the morning asking for my username and password for the Department of RE's homepage. At first I thought it was a dream, but it turned out to be reality as my mother came back into the room telling me that I'd passed. So wow...all I have to do is show my certificate of completion (sp?) for the Principles course I took online and I'm pretty much licensed for a good 18 months while I take the remaining three college level RE courses.
Somehow, I'm not all that excited. I know this is a big step...but...well I dunno. It's still not something I see myself doing for even a decade. I can't get myself more enthused over passing, but I'll work on that. In the meantime, I'll probably be more and more busy now that I've actually got this darn thing. Spending an actual work day...working. *shudder* I haven't done that in forever.
In any event....I saw Superbad on Friday with Ben. DUDE!! That movie was hilarious. Of course, I might be the only one of us who would think so. It was crass and overly homophobic/centric. It's just a fun movie when you put away your morals and tight end attitude. Whatever. OOOH! Speaking of whatever...I picked up the X-Men: Phoenix - Warsong hardcover at Border's last night. Again, none of you care, but the whole thing is about my favorite marvel characters...ever. The Stepford Cuckoos. yay! I was so happy just reading and re-reading it last night...it'll definately help me with roleplaying as now I actually have some source material to draw characterization from. Hooray for being a total dork!! So basically, it's about the Stepford Cuckoos and how they're actually clones of Emma Frost...and they're not the only ones!! The Weapon Plus Program (the same people who create Wolverine) harvest roughly a thousand eggs from Emma while she was in a coma like ages ago. After a bit of genetic resequencing and hardware adapted into their skeletons (not adamantium, but rather nanotechnology and a neural memory net), the original five Cuckoos were sent to infiltrate Xavier's. It all goes wrong after two of the sisters are killed and the remaining three make contact with the Phoenix Force after it once again resurrected Jean. So triplets on a rampage through an underground Weapons Plus bunker find out they're really only 3/1000 was really awesome. But none of you really care and thus cannot share my enthusiasm. So I'll just leave it at KICK ASS...
