OOC: Now that I've dug myself out of gif heaven, it's time for an infopost!
I suppose it would only be proper to start with the newbie. Let's see if I can summarize things without being spoilery AND without going on for a billion paragraphs!
Khadgar
*sings* I knew you were trouble when you walked iiiin...
Khadgar is from the recent movie Warcraft and is finding his way to Fandom from a few years before the film. When Khadgar was a child, his family gave him over to the Kirin Tor, the group of the most powerful mages in the world of Azeroth. Sending Khadgar to the city of Dalaran to be with the Kirin Tor brought his family a lot of honor, but it also permanently isolated him from his parents and siblings when he was six so... good job, guys!

It turned out that Khadgar was a very good mage, and when he was 11, he was chosen to be the Guardian Novitiate. The Guardian of Azeroth is the most powerful mage in the world, imbued with all kinds of extra powers to protect Azeroth's people, and Khadgar started being trained to take over the position if anything happened to the current Guardian. Good news: this gave him a chance to learn new things! Bad news: this ultimately meant having his studies restricted so he couldn't read up on "bad" kinds of magic, even in the name of being able to fight against them. Plus, the Kirin Tor is a bunch of jerks with terrible ideas about which races can be trusted with magic, and how it's totally not their responsibility to help people, because if they wanted to be around normal people they wouldn't have made their city fly above everyone, duh.
He's this cranky for like half of the movie, but you can't really blame him.
Khadgar decided this whole future Guardian thing was just not going to work out for him, and he renounced his vows, which was a big deal since no one has ever turned their back on being the Guardian. He left Dalaran... okay, he was told to leave and not come back, and since leaving the Kirin Tor meant bringing dishonor on his family and their cow, he headed for a completely different kingdom aaand that's where Fandom comes in. Don't worry, he'll be okay once he sees the school's library.

- Still the principal. She's not sure how she's lasted this long either.
- Has a daughter named Grace who is nine. freaking. years old. Zoe is not thinking about how old this makes her.
- Will be running the Student Council again this fall, god help her.
Sam

- Graduated a billionty years ago and now runs the Magic Box to keep an eye on Fandom.
- Has graduated from college and is finish law school oh god he is so old too.
- Is married to Peter Petrelli and lives with their dog Scout across the causeway awwwww.
- Occasionally saves people and hunts things because it's the family business and he's okay with that.
- Has only gotten hotter over the years and needs new icons for that.
Clint
Clint: How did I become the team Dad? How is this a thing that was allowed to happen?
- Currently runs the gym and enjoys being married to Kitty, the hottest woman in Fandom. Not that he's biased.
- Owns two dogs but is willing to take in as many more as Kitty will let him.
- Seriously, if you own a dog, he wants to pet it.
- Lives in a world where SHIELD still exists and I so need to fix that, mwahaha.
Kira

- Is going to be a senior this year!
- Needs to figure out more about her kitsune abilities, note to self.
- Is a precious cinnamon roll who misses Kathy like crazy and needs more girls to hang out with, also note to self.
