CELEBRATE!

Today I had what I'd predicted to be my most difficult midterm (19th century art history), and I think it went well!! Soooo glad it's over with. Yesterday I studied for a trillion hours with a classmate (whom is also named Taryn. Freakkkky. She's from out west, and niether of us had ever met another Taryn in person until this semester. We somehow managed to be in several of the same classes, so we've gotten to know each other pretty well. We're eerily similar.) which I think helped a lot. Talking things through always works best for me when I'm studying. After the exam we decided the best way to celebrate would be with nachos and beer so we hit up The Split Crow for an hour or so, but then I had to go to Design class.

And by design class, I mean I went to Kaela's apartment with Joey and we worked on our final project which is due friday ... we're sewing a super-intense jacket for a fisherman. It was so lovely and sunny out, which made the walk to her apartment not seem as long (the beer probably helped too :P) ... I dunno, I'm just in a good mood today! I think it was the sun. And also getting that mid-term over with, so I don't have it looming over my head anymore.

Also: I have a new desk that I got for five bucks from Beacon House. It is bright red. This makes me happy too, it's verrrrry pretty. Needs a paint job as it's terribly cracked and chipped, but it's still lovely.
