I was amazed. I spent almost the entire day not even thinking about CVS (only mentioning it to
bmac586 in the context of, "Wow, I haven't thought of CVS at all today" at about 10:30 p.m.), and it was amazing. Now granted, I didn't do much at all, as I never seem to do anything productive on my days off because I'm so tired, but at least I didn't do anything related to work.
I finished submitting my paperwork to Valparaiso Community Schools. I had turned in everything but my transcripts last week (not realizing until two hours later that I hadn't included those), so finally had a chance to turn those in. I hope to have two weekdays off most weeks, such that I can use those two days to substitute.
I looked into Indiana University Northwest quite a bit last night (I slept 8-2:30 a.m. and 5-9 a.m.; this was between those two times) and decided one option I may pursue is getting my MBA. They have a two-year program that involves night classes ... at least it's one option. I haven't given up on finishing up my M. Ed. yet, though. If it involves IUN or Purdue (Calumet or North Central), I want to start as soon as I can pay in-state tuition, whether that's in January or next August.
The rest of my week involves working the next four days, having to cut out three hours since overtime isn't approved; buying a bike once my credit card statement is sent (so I don't have to pay it off until November, even though the bike I want is only $70 ... never been late on a payment, and never carried a balance, and never want to); and getting to welcome my parents back to the area next Sunday as they attempt to start looking around for houses so they can move out here. As for now, I'm tired, so unless I decide to take/post a random survey, I'm going to bed.
