So I'm currently waiting for my dad to get here for band practice today..
Because yah, I have a show on saturday night with silent violet. ARE YOU COMING?
I hope a lot of people show up...
In other news, I'm apparently being interviewed by "Strut" magazine for their May issue. The theme is Creative Women in Detroit. Also, I've been given a slot at WDET's annual spring festival on March 18th. The gig also includes a radio interview and airplay on DET on the Ralph Valdez program at 10pm. =)
Val and I are officially going to 2 concerts together this spring...Minus the Bear with Thursday, and Yeah Yeah Yeah's at the royal oak music theatre.
And were gonna be rough tough girls and work for my dad's powerwashing company this summer. WHOOOHOO!
I'm looking forward to the spring/summer months. Things seem to be falling into place. Music, work, love...everythings right where I want it to be. I'm stable, I'm happy, I'm okay. I miss carmen so much, but she makes me smile a million times a day without even being here. All I gotta do is think about her...see something that reminds me of her and I'm instantly smiling.
It's all good.
And oh yeah, my cell phone is officially sweeter than yours. KTHX.
