Writer's Block: Your Favorite Series: One Last Go Round

I have two easy answers--that is, the titles came to me in about 5 seconds. One show that got most of one season and should have gone for much longer is Firefly. Great writers and actors with Whedon's interesting take on Our Future In Space. One season really wasn't enough at all. My second choice was a show on Fox that had a 6 show run and deserved much better: Brimstone. A decorated NYC homicide cop killed in the line of duty (Peter Horton)  is sent to Hell (for killing his wife's rapist, secretly, months before). There's is a "breakout" and Satan (John Glover) tasks this cop to send the escapees back to Hell with a promise of redemption for the cop. More explanation here is unneeded. It was the ultimate noir/ detective show mixed with the occult, social satire, and not a little humor (as provided by Glover in a brilliant version of Lucifer.) The music was by Peter Gabriel! Fox never gave it a chance. The same could be said for Firefly of course.
