 I'm in a much less bitter mood than earlier!   Actually, I had a pretty damn good day today after the last post.

Firstly, I was with Britt, my best friend for fifteen years- always fantastic! We went to the beach, played soccer, threw the ball around in the water and then went swimming once we'd lost interest in my soccer ball- about the time the water got crowded with little kids. After the beach, we hung out at my house for a bit, got Panera, and then went to storage so I could look through boxes. I got most of my things meant for the dorm in one section of the compartment, compiled a box of clothes to donate, and threw out any toiletries and vitamins that had either expired, went bad or exploded.

After that was hanging out my house and then having dinner at Parto's, an Italian place. I ate a calzone- or more accurately, half a calzone xD Other half is currently in the fridge to be nommed at some other time that isn't tonight.

I'm also all registered for Pottermore, Harry Potter fiend that I am! I've got two extra accounts, but one is going to Linda from Erised and the other to Riverhead Brittany. Perhaps I ought to try for more anyhow, so I could give them to other friends I know are fanatical about Harry Potter.

Off to do either five miles or four and strides- not sure which yet. Probably the 4 and strides, i need to start getting speed in for cross-country... but I also need to up my mileage, which flummoxes me. Five and strides? The thing is, I worked out three hours in the gym with Jess yesterday. and then today I was shifting boxes in storage for a few hours. It's 100+ degrees in there, so perhaps I should go easy on my body, which definitely means no upping in mileage and introduction of speed at the same time.

I should catch up on Erised posts. I should also work on things for making a founding chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance at Queens College.

- HOW THE HECK DID I GAIN 2 POUNDS IN 2 DAYS? D: Go. The. Freak. AWAY. I need to get as skinny as possible for cross-country and that does not help! Oh, wait, it's  because my mom and the universe have been determined to fatten me up. Now to figure out how to surreptitiously throw out the chicken part of tomorrow's dinner so she won't notice... because really, the corn and potatoes will suffice just fine for filling me up, thanks., If I get hungry, i'll eat fruit. I hope she leaves the house or something... or maybe I'll put it in the garbage and voluntarily take out the garbage. Yeah, that works. If I had my way, i'd jsut be eating salad.

It has to be because of yesterday's ice cream. Why couldn't my friend have gotten the monstrous amount from her server with me getting the smaller amunt? I loathe wasting food I paid for, and so I finished it... unlike when I go to partos, I can't doggiebag ice cream. It just doesn't work.

But seriously. Godfreakingdammit!! This is so not cool......... I'm already heavy for a cross-country runner and I want to be fast, not all waddly and slow.

I wish the elliptical had a desk to it so I could do LSAT practice questions and use the elliptical at the same time...

Also, I' not trying to be too skinny. i jsut want the body back that I had when I was running my fastest, which is about 5 pounds lighter than I am now and nothing but lean muscle.

When my friend has her thing Saturday, i'm bring celery and carrotsticks for myself- others better not eat too many, especially if they bring junk food themselves. i HATE when I bring healthy food to a game night with good intentions and then everyone has to eat what I brought first so that i'm stuck with eating fattening shit,.
