so, i spent most of my free time today updating the OS. there's no particular effort, just a lot of time, involved. this went pretty well, but that a point update should run >300mb, and only as a download, makes it seem to me that either something was really no ready to go or there's lots of great little add-ons being added on. (i'm in the camp for the former, which is why i waited til now to update anyway.)
not a spectacular load of much, but that's today.
