So I haven't written in this journal in close to two years. Part of it is because I don't have time and then the other part of it is because I'm not too fond of broadcasting my life story on the internet for everyone to read. I guess since no one seems to use livejournal anymore then no one will probably read what I write anyway...I'm not really going to write anything, I just wanted to post this journal entry that I wrote around Thanksgiving during my senior year of high school. I've read this every Thanksgiving since then because its funny to see how things were back then and how it all compares to now. Some things have stayed the same and other things are different but its just nice to reflect...
Yesterday I never got a chance to talk about some of the things that I'm thankful for, so here's my random list of some of the things that make me happy: My family. They're always there for me even when they don't come off as 100% supportive, I know that they would do anything for me. My Mom and my Jeff, Nancy and my dad, Ally, Mike, Steve, Ashley and Wyatt. And then there's my whole extended family too. I love them all (even the crazy ones). My friends which include the ones from school, swimming, church, the pool, and Amanda/ 'jeffanda' (who's in her own little category that's more like my family)...and there's my Sims-playing/Gilmore-Girl-Watching boyfriend, Colin. But he's NOT my friend. lol...My swim coaches, past and present. Backstroke. Michael Phelps, Natalie Coughlin, Brendan Hansen, Katie Hoff and the rest of the Olympic Swim Team. Swimming in general. Butterscotch Krimpets and Kandy Cakes. Mrs. Stoltzfus. The Karen-like phrases that keep me going in AP English. Dashboard Confessional. Parkas. Susie and Andy for brightening my days with bath tub penguins and 'schade moments.' The Bekofskee family. Philly Cheese Steaks. Puppies. Baseball. CAAC's. Listening to Fall Out Boy and Scotty Doesn't Know before races. Pain killers. Autum. Timmie and his Dane Cook impressions. Kenny Chesney. My car for taking me places. All of my doctors trying to fix my shoulder. The girls from lane 1. The P.S.C. Alliance. Drywalling at Habitat. BAM! Italian food.Xanga.com for helping me cope with stress. "B-Days," when I don't have AP Stats or AP Bio. Ipods. Aeropostale. Grand Valley State University. Keith Urban. GCG Plus speedo goggles. Napoleon Dynamite. My computer. Screaming the medley cheer after the national anthem out of instinct, even if I'm at a baseball game. Talking to fire hydrents and mailboxes when I'm driving. Camping with the Silvestro family. People magazine. There's other stuff, but that's all I wanna write.....
