(no subject)
In the last month and a half:
- I've begun and finished two three-unit classes. B+ and a B. I can live with that.
- I've moved into a new place on Derby and MLK. My room is HUGE. It's five blocks further away from campus. I can live with that.
- ...The new roommates, though? Big potheads. One's from Bali, a jewelry maker and totally quirky. The other, James, is a total hippie who's moving out in a couple weeks. His room is next to mine, and the heater separating our rooms has slits at the very top. He can pretty much see me naked anytime he wants...if he's a pervert. I'm thinking he is.
- Old roommate Stephanie, the deadbeat, and I, are no longer friends. BIIIIIIIG falling-out, betrayed me, blah blah blah. I am definitely not becoming best buddies with any other roommate from now on, I've learned my lesson!
- I have been jobless. As in, no monies, negative $$$. No influx! I finally have an interview set up for Friday, though. Pray for me.
- I've grown so bored of no studying/no job that I have been reduced to learning Chinese on Youtube. I'm not kidding, though I wish I was. I'm kind of having fun with it, though! and Brian's learning with me. It sucks, but he's just overall better at it. I hate how much better he is at Asian things than me (making pad thai, being cheap, etc.).
- I turn 21. I'm kind of not excited anymore, really. I mean, I'm fairly sure I'm allergic to alcohol, I don't like gambling, and it just means I'm growing more ancient. There's really nothing in it for me except that now I get to waste away more money at clubs to get my dance on.
- VEGAS.
- Nothing else...except more being broke, learning Youtube Chinese, and drinking lots of water and tanning. God, my life is sad. :(
