Concert and such
So yea, I got back from my trip with Steph to Ohio today. We went to go see Rascal Flatts yesterday. Let me tell you…for it being my first country concert, I was not disappointed at all! The concert was at Columbus Crew Stadium across from the Ohio State Fair. Gary Alan opened up for them. He was good. I didn’t know some of the songs I knew were by him. But then again that’s kinda how I am for a lot of country songs.
Then the stage went dark and 45 minutes later Rascal Flatts came on and they were fantastic! They stage was in two parts and they rode like a floating stage to get to the other part. And had a ton of smaller LCD screens to make up a big screen. They even sang some songs that weren’t theirs…Hotel California and Sweet Home Alabama. They also played some very recognizable riffs from Back in Black and Another One Bites The Dust. The concert was fantastic!!!!!
I can’t wait to go to my next country concert in 2 weeks with Steph and her sister. We are going to see Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood, and Dierks Bently!
On the way home I called my favorite little cousin David and told him that me and Steph won’t be coming by their house. I had made plans to surprise him. But Steph’s friend Kyle was leaving for Texas for a year and I knew that if we went she would miss saying good bye to someone that was like a brother to her. So we went straight from the hotel in Ohio to Kyle’s house. We got there about an hour before Kyle left. I let her and Kyle have their moment together. Then we said our good-byes and left Kyle’s. Steph was pretty upset that her best friend was leaving so I bought her a double scoop of her favorite ice cream. I hope it made her feel a little better for the moment. Then we chilled back at her place for a while and then went to go check out some new laptops for her. We found this great one at Circuit City. I think we are gonna pick it up tomorrow after my doctor appt. Then I gotta run to an art store called Dick Blick’s, they are having a huge sale this week.
We also cleared camping with her folks so she can go and that’s in 4 days. So more to come on that later.
