MSU, Mom's birthday, and Accident!
Yesterday I went to MSU again to visit Ashley and Angela. It was a lot of fun yet again. I got there around 2:30 or 3:00 because of stupid people re-painting the lines on 96. Anyway, I get there and went the wrong way to the dorm. Instead of going to Armstrong I went to Holden. So I called Ashley to find out how to get to her dorm from Angela's. I get there and find a place to park, and we walk around for a while becuase Ashley wasn't allowed in her room because a couple of her roomies were sleeping and had migranes. Or something like that. Around 4, we got a call from Ang saying she was out of class, so we met up with her and Palmer. Palmer is a cool guy. He kinda reminds me of BJ in a way. So we were chilling with them and walked over to Holden to rent Sin City because I forgot to bring it up. We went back to Ashley's room in Armstrong to watch it. Her roomies weren't there when we got there. But we met them briefly a little earlier in the day. Pretty fun people overall. After the movie, Meg and her bf came back, & Lauren and her brother hung out for a while. Got to know some really cool people. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone one again in 2 weeks. I'll be there again for the weekend of 14 and 15. Ashley ended up with a back massage from me. I hope she liked it. She may end up with another one when I see her again. Her roomie with the bf said she has to be next in line. I guess I have references up there already. I stayed until like midnight, when at this point I go back to my car and find a fucking parking ticket! I was pissed but it was expected. I have no idea where free parking is on that campus. Ashley promised me some beer next time, so that made up for it. I'll bring some of my personal stuff up there so the ladies can have one of my favorite shots.
Today, was my Mom's birthday. So Happy Birthday to her. I was at work for most of the day though. But I did get payed to watch the MSU game. I loved it. It was back and forth all game. Then OT hit and channel 7 switched to the Penn State game, Those bastards! So I had to rush to my phone and look up on ESPN Bottomline and get up to the minute updates on the game. I found out that MSU lost by a field goal. So I had to be the bearer of bad news to my fellow workers. Then I got home around 5:30 and changed. We went out to eat for mother's birthday. On the way there we got stuck at the light at John Daly & Ford. I'm sitting there talking to my dad when I watch this huge accident happen litterally right in front of me. This lady in a mini van was being stupid and cut off this guy and his family at the completly wrong time. But I've never heard of a good time to cut someone off. So yea. Anyway, the cars stop moving and the guy gets out of his compact and runs to the other side of the car to help his wife out. Then she runs to the backseat door and pulls out her toddler. The lady in the van hasn't gotten out of the car at this point. But she is on the phone. So we knew she was ok. But it was insane. I've never seen two cars hit each other. I mean I've been in accidents, and I've seen people hit trees, bushes, street signs, light poles, etc. But I have never seen two cars collide. So that was my day.
