Guess who's back, sweet potatoes?
That's right. Yours Truly.
First off, I want to apologize if you've sent me a comment and I never answered back. For some reason, my account was set to not receive messages via e-mail, so I never realized I had such a backlog of comments on my LJ, not to mention all the stuff building up in my e-mail inbox. It hasn't helped that I've been ill on and off for the past couple months, as well as being preoccupied with work; like, to the point where I'm dreaming about it. January alone is going to be a nightmare. I can smell it. I'm scheduled to work extra hours, but at least I'll have overtime out the wazoo and finally be able to start putting aside the money so I can finally start paying back loans to certain people who have been good enough to save a certain person's ass on more than one occasion. But getting back to what i was saying before, if you get a response on a comment you made, like, three friggin' months ago, yeah, that's pretty much why.
Anyway, seeing as the boss man had a change of heart and decided to decimate the morning shift tomorrow, I finally have some down time tonight and most of tomorrow to just hang out, so I thought I'd do a year-end retrospective of the music that rocked my world in 2007. Like the last time I did this sort of thing, I had initially planned to post only tracks from albums released in 2007, but some favorites that don't quite fit within those parameters kept sneaking onto the list, so I gave up and just chucked everything in. For the most part. I wasn't able to get a hold of all the music I wanted to include, but this'll have to do. The IMEEM playlist only streams tracks, but I'm including a list of the tracks I also have on my hard drive, so if you're interested, just let me know.
Tomorrow I'll probably do a proper entry, but a more likely scenario involves Yours Truly spending most of the day curled up fetus-like in bed, hung over with repeated viewings of Demolition Man and half-assed New Year's television programming until seven in the morning, eyes relentlessly bloodshot and spasm-wracked body mysteriously covered in jam and fire ants. You know. The typical Monday night shenanigans.
