this has always confused me....
there's this ad on the radio at home for some website about having a plan for where to meet your family during emergencies. they had a couple of people tell their example of plans. one person's plan was to meet at the bus stop. her reasoning? "nobody's gonna be there. no people, no buses, no traffic" wtf??? it's a BUS STOP. why wouldn't people or buses or traffic be at the bus stop??? it's a place for people to meet up and wait for the bus, and for the bus to come and pick up those people. just... wtf? i don't understand her reasoning at all. and most bus stops are by the side of a road, sometimes very busy roads. so why wouldn't there be traffic either?? am i dumb or is that ad just absolutely retarded??
