Oh, this is simply superb.

Such a fantastic idea, and you've executed it brilliantly. I really like your Alice; she seems so much more human than what we saw of her on screen, with the drinking and doubt, etc.

And the girl and her cards... so intriguing *runs off to look in old tarot card book*

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I wished we'd gotten some sense of what had happened to her from Jack and Gwen at the end of CoE.

Alice fits the Queen of Swords just as Jack fits the Knight of Swords. Seriously. :D
