Tonight I skipped my Minorities class and met up with Amanda to go see Sugarcult in Ft. Lauderdale. First we went to Chilis. Not so good today as it was yesterday. We ordered our nachos, which were decent. The jalepenos were kinda lacking. I didn’t really mind, since I don’t like them, but Amanda does. Anyhow, we asked for extra sour cream and the guy didn’t bring it to us till were on the last nacho. So much for that. I was not very hungry, so I ordered nothing else. Amanda though, ordered chicken tacos. It took an eternity for them to come out, and when they did they were cold. We complained and had it taken off the bill. The dude only got $1.00 for his shitty service.
And well we moved on to Starbucks for a chantico. Finally we were on our way to club “Revolution”. We arrived and felt very out of place amongst these gothic/punk teenagers. But it was fine. We made our way in to the stage area. I like this place better than the “Culture Room”. Much more spacious and they allow you stand on the stairs…which is where we were; on one of the side stairs, with no big people in front, pretty damn close, and best of all…away from the pit. Damn that is really stupid. I still don’t see the point of pushing and shoving people around for no reason, and very well likely injure yourself. Whatever though. The first band we saw, which was the 4th band up was “Early November”. I really enjoyed their music, and the one guitarist's strange, crazy moves all around the stage. At 10 Sugarcult was up. They kicked ass! The lead singer wanted everyone to go to the beach with him after the concert…naked. Yup, naked. Well, overall I enjoyed them very much. Very charismatic.
Thanks homie for bringing me along. I had blast. I needed that from all the recent stress. Thank you.
…and thanks for listening, and everything, and all that jazz. It was helpful to actually talk about it a little. In all honesty that the first time I had actually said it out loud. Ah well, we’ll see what happens. But seriously, thanks for being there.

Well I think that’s all I have to say. I’m off to write the remainder of my philosophy paper. Blah.
Peace out!
