(no subject)
Went to Umass-Amherst for the fall open house yesterday. It was OK. It's my solid second choice now. Northeastern still rules all. But I could see myself going there if I had to. My parents obviously like it because it's so inexpensive. My mom keeps saying that Amherst's engineering program is better than Northeastern's and she tries to sell every thing about Amherst to me. It's really annoying. I don't think I like Amherst because a) it's a long ass drive to get to any kind of city and b) the campus is too big for its own good. Honestly, I'm not going to be taking all engineering classes. I'll try to get into history classes and whatnot. And I'm not looking forward to a 20 minute walk across campus in the snow to get to my classes. Northeastern? 5 minute max, a lot of the time you can just go via tunnel. I don't know, UMass is just too secluded.
Speaking of colleges... SAT scores are posted online tomorrow... If I didn't do much better on reading my parents will be pissed probably, even if I get a 750 in Math (which is slightly possible).
Nothing from Mary or Elyse. They'll be the ones talking to me. I think I have more of a reason to be mad at them then they do me.
Next Saturday is MVC's at Chelmsford. My last cross country race ever. Very sad. Ha. I'm still going to go to the Divisionals and State meet later on, just to cheer them on.
