I'm officially a teacher! Taught my first two lessons last Tuesday, and it was more than amazing. Not that I don't still have my doubts, but now I've got a true motivation, and all that just doesn't seem important anymore. I love it. I absolutely 100 percent love it.
And it's made me realize how lucky I am to have had such an amazing teacher for so long. And now I'm seeing that it's not over with her. Lessons, maybe, but not instruction in how to teach. I emailed her with the simplest question (and gushed over how well it went last week), and I just got back a letter that had to have taken her an hour to write, it's so long, but she was willing to do it for me.
I want to be that teacher for somebody. And now I feel like it might actually happen.
