If you're saying I'm not your "real" friend because I don't agree with what you're doing, then you've lost your mind. I think anyone who is willing to just let you go off to the army or marines isn't a friend at all - because not only do they want you out of here, they don't care about your well-being.
I'm never going to accept your decision, so I hope if you end up going, you realize that.
You'll regret it. You need to go back to college and make something of yourself. Going out and dying for your country isn't the way I think you should go... you're smart and you need to get educated!

I will be in college correspondence courses, so as to be an officer. I am not doing it to die for my country, I am doing it to live for myself. It will be a while before Isign up or know anything for sure. This place is boring julie, College is as equally as boring.
