Heh... Dalmasca never really changes, does it?
I say this like I've been gone so long. But then again... so much has happened in the past year, I probably shouldn't be particularly surprised it feels that long. Man, I wasn't kiddin' when I told Phoenix that Kawroup is like life. Bittersweet. I can hear all the festivities really gettin' inta swing already and I know full well I'm gonna be out there with 'em eventually but right now... I jus' kinda wanna sit here with Uncle Chuck.
Brought him a present this year, though it still ain't what I really wanna get. Some Kawroup I'm gonna finally have the money t'get him a real nice and proper headstone. Somethin' big enough t'put Mom and Dad's names on, too.
Been stayin' with Sensei while I'm here, of course. I love how the first thing outta his mouth was him demandin' to know where his share of my great pirate riches was. Heh! You can always tell when he's tryin' not t'smile or laugh. His eyes crinkle up at the edges. It was great jus' sittin' and catchin' up with him. I always kinda worry about how he and the shop are holdin' up when I'm gone. I know I shouldn't, though. Sensei can take better care of himself than I do myself!
Eh, that's enough babblin' from me. Time t'get somethin' t'eat! I ain't even had a snack in four hours... I'm starvin'!
