Back from college :-)
Hehe. Those were two great days spent with my future classmates! The only bad parts were the insane heat and humidity, and my gimpiness from having a huge welt on the bottom of my foot from where I randomly stepped on a thorn like stick. Combine that with walking and you get a tired Lauren.
My one night dorm was nice- I saw my roommate all of twice and when I went to show Scott the dorms she had disappeared off the face of the earth for the entire night. Poor Gill! She should've stayed in my room instead of down the hall with the bed that was impossible to get up onto. Gill, Mike, Scott, and I looked for things to do in Fairfax, bought lotto tickets, and then lit "fireworks" and played frisbee late into the night. LoL.
The first day was basic stuff that was unnecessary to sit through, but the second day Gill and I were on our way to find air conditioning when we went to the front of the registration class line by accident and got first choice over the other freshman and the same English class! I was registered for 17 credits, but I realized that's probably a mistake and I have the opportunity to take it easy since I already have a semester of GMU down from last year. So my classes are English, Air Science/AF lab, Chemistry for Engineers, Intro to Engineering, Calculus I. Decent I think.
Anyway... My mom's moving again so I have to pack stuff.
