im am soo upset
I'm upset with myself for falling for it as many times as I have, and I'm also upset with all of the women who put up with it. Why is it that we settle instead of seeking out what is the very best for us? When it comes to other areas in your life, do you settle there too? This man is supposed to be your soul mate; the one you are going to spen the REST OF YOUR LIFE WITH..why settle when it comes to something that big? Is it because we are impatient? Do we not want to wait to see what else is out there? Or do we think that there is no one else out there and that this is the best that we can do? Do we simply not care? do we want to be held by someone that bad? Or is it that don't know that we're settling? Are we blind? Do we not have model relationships in the world to look at to see what a REAL man is supposed to look like? I believe so...with all of these divorces, people cheating, etc. how are we supposed to know what the cream of the crop looks like? I think that I have seen the cream of the crop..and what makes it soo funny is that he has no idea that he's at the top..he shouldn't be the one worried about getting a girlfriend..he shouldn't even have ideas of being alone for the rest of his life...wow..he doesn't even know it..And no, I'm not referring to the guy I met up here...this guy up here is challenging me to think in so many ways..he is making me search deeper...and I am...and if he's not the cream of the crop then he is nothing to me...its a friendship at its highest level..but I dont know...but in a way, I do. And why am I upset? I mean, its a GREAT thing that I have the knowledge to look deeper...so many people seem to stay on the surface...and for that ability to wonder and search, I thank GOD for it...I know what the cream of the crop looks like...women, please don't settle. Men, don't settle either because there are some girls out there who are just as scandalous as men. As for me, I am not being cocky or arrogant..I KNOW I lay in the cream of the crop. Just some words of wisdom to share, to make you think about your life partner...
