Overall Vacation
My vacation wasn't all that exciting.
HOwever, the beginning was pretty good. The weekends [4/16-4/17] was great. Saturday, I spent a couple of hours at the beach. I just sat there and let the ocean breeze blow through my hair. I had a good conversation with my friend, Flora. But the silence we spent was one of the few moments I spent relaxing and in peace. I just watch the waves crash and listen to them. The sky never looked so blue that day. It was tad bit chilly because of the breeze but that made it more relaxing. I felt a little numb, but I couldn't care less. It was just nice. Then Sunday, I had a nice walk on the beach. Later in the day, I went to an empty parking lot with a few friends and drove. This was my first time driving. It was a little scary but I survived. I was prolly the worst driver in the car. Can you really blame me tho? It was my first time. I thought I did pretty good. Then I spent some time with my cousin Laura. I love her very much.
Then the week kind of died down. I had to go to practice from Wednesday through Friday. At practice, I pretty much sat there and watched. Although, Friday I drilled for reg. and insp. Friday, the team all went out to eat. I sat with my sister and only her. I was good and full.
Each day, I'm closer to the show me and my sister are working on. We confirmed with most of the bands during this whole week. I'm confirming the venue by Monday of next week before I go to Florida for a competition. I'm very excited about the show. It's now a birthday bash for Joe, the bassist of Brunswick. He's turning 19. He's so adorable. Today is Brunswick's show at Wentworth Inst. Sadly I can't go even though I planned weeks ahead to already be ready. My dad wouldn't let me go and my ride had errands anyhow. But I am most definitely going to their show on May 7 at Classical. I love these guys. They have one of the best energy I've seen on stage! Ian and Mike have realli beautiful hair. I'm a sucker for that.
I think I'm going to head out because I'm freezing. I'll prolly order out cuz there's nothing to eat at my house. I freaking starve all the time.
By the way, I want to add that I love Standard of Living because their music rocks. I am so in love with them. I can't wait to have them play for the show me and my sis are doing.
