David Wu is a representative of the state I grew up in. I’ve had dinner sitting near him in a banquet hall and I have to tell you that he’s a pretty nice guy. I’ve always really liked him. This speech made me love him even more. After watching this I can only assume that he was once on his high school’s or college’s speech and debate team due to the fact that he made a Star Trek analogy in a political speech. I’ve heard a lot of people bitching about this, angry that this is the kind of person who has control of our nation’s legislative branch but I personally find it comforting. Why? Nerds do it better.
