Seriously God, WTF?
This has been bothering me for quite some time. As of late I've been talking a lot with my good friend Tink. When I'm with him/talking to him I feel so...free. Liberated. He makes me realize the truth about who I wish I could be and the things I wish I could do.
Ever since converting to Christianity I've felt like I was being repressed. For those too stupid to have noticed thus far, I'm bisexual. That's right, I am gay (kinda). I like boys AND girls. I want to have sex with boys AND girls. I want to kiss boys AND girls. I want to date boys AND girls. My close friends know this. Only two of the people who I go to church with know this.
Obviously, this creates a problem.
I'm gay (kinda) and that apparently means that even though I love God and accept Jesus as my savior I have to go to hell. Why? I'm not sorry. I'm a compassionate, loving person who does everything she can to help those in need, I volunteer a ridiculous amount of hours, I abstain from sex, I don't do drugs or commit acts of violence, I get fairly good grades and I'm still going to burn in hell because I think men and women are equally beautiful. I think sexual thoughts all the time and masturbate at least once (usually twice) a day and I'm going to hell because of it. Whatever happened to "love thy self?" I understand why the Bible says homosexuality and masturbation are evil, but I find both reasons sucky. They make no sense to me.
Now, I'm not dissing on Christianity. Really, I'm not. What I'm trying to say is that when you have two men, or two women, or one man and one woman, or any combination of those in numbers of 3 or higher you have something beautiful. There's no way NO WAY it can be wrong. I refuse to be ashamed of something as trivial as my sexuality, and I refuse to be held down by who I am inside. Yeah, I said fuck oppression. Gays (and half gays like me) rule forever.
I think that in the next century we'll see the turning over of a new leaf. Soon, us homos will be able to marry each other and have equal rights to the straight people. Kinda like how white slave owners used to use Christ to oppress their slaves. Back then the bible said that those with colored skin were lesser than those without. Personally, I can't wait to see the homosexuals removed from the list of sinners destined to burn. You know? The list that includes rapists, murderers, adulterers, thieves, and witches. Actually, I'd like to see witches removed from the list as well (but I'll save that rant for another day).
