Mmmm kittens.
Why can the school never get my schedule right? To make a long story short I didn't get into Humanities and had to accommodate my schedule as such and it therefore RUINED MY LIFE!
Oh well. Flagstaff was the most fun I've had in a long time. We stayed there for two weeks for the back to back Coconino events. Blade and I ran novice both weekends and had many good moments, which included a 32.5 in dressage and not only getting into the water, but running our first double clean cross country, and bad moments, which included Blade rearing on a hand walk, sleeping in a tent while some angry deity made the sky fall, riding my dressage test while the sky fell, and several very cold showers. And I mean cold.
My mom and I did our traditional before school shopping in Santa Fe. I purchased, among other things, a notebook with penguins on it and a sweater that feels like it was made out of kittens. And then my Mom made me drive home in the dark, during a torrential downpour. It took us about six hours to get home because I wouldn't drive over 25. Rain has not been my friend lately.
And I have a muchos large favor to ask of any of you Los Alamos residents. I'm in search of any CDs by the Who. I already have the Best of the Who, but should anyone want to make me a copy of any other album I would be delighted.
Speaking of tangents, I had a dream that all the Heathers I know were in the same place. Heather-Heather had broken her jaw and wouldn't let me have her teeth. Shame on you Heather.
Now I'm just procrastinating because I don't want to clean my room or go shorten Blade's mane. It was such a disaster last time I did it, I'm terrified to do it again.
