The Second in Four Days!
Greetings True Believers!
Here it is, as promised. But I’m going to make an effort to keep them short, for your sake and mine. That means I’ll go back to the old standby of short notes and thoughts for the day. (This is already longer than I’d hoped)
Went to a Tides game Friday, none of us have any idea who won… You can see why…
Langer and I stocked up on beer Sunday night. I don’t think he’ll be able to look that girl in they eye for a while.
God gave GW a fitting farewell. It was cold, wet and miserable. I think I saw snow.
Manned the rails (To stand along the outboard edge of the flight deck in dress blues for you non-navy folks. See picture.) to pull out. They wouldn’t let us wear a coat. God I love this ship…
My old LPO figured out a way to fuck me even after he’s left.
Are we there yet?
Survived the 3M inspection. (System set in place to fix shit before it breaks)
To fend off boredom, we’ve hooked up three XBox 360s in the photo lab at night and have been playing Halo 3. I’m totally Pwning some noobs with my wicked mad claw and melee skills…
And I’m signing up for some tours in the place Sea Daddy says I can’t tell you about yet… But it’s looking like we’ll be having some new adventures True Believers!
