Deployable...
Ok, ok, I know I haven't posted any pictures yet from my trip to the big Mosque and the camels and the horseback riding or the sheesha and my new hookah... But I will.
Until then, here's something new.
I'm deploying to Afghanistan for three weeks. I'll be flying there then taking a convoy to hook up with a detachment of Marines. JO1 Pinsky, the Navy's gun-ho AllHands journalist will be traveling with.
I have to get my gun quals Sunday and then see if they'll issue me some gear.
I’ll be sure to jot my journey down as I go and share it with you all when I get back.
Oh, and if you're a family member reading this, don't tell my mom... Or grandma or anyone else for that matter...
