First update in a long time
I'll be at my grandparents farm for easter. I'll also get my rats and fish back from my mom. yay. In the basement of the guest house on my grandparents farm my dad is raising a bunch of baby turkeys. I'll get to see them for the first time this weekend. How cute. My dad has been building lots of coops and fixing up my grandpa's old chicken shed. Soon we will have a bunch of chickens as well as turkeys. I don't know what kind he plans to get. We used to have bardrocks. Then the racoons ate them all. Hopefully the new coops will be more racoon proof.
Did you know chickens are canabalistic? Whenever I accidentaly dropped an egg on the ground the chikens all rushed to to it as though it were a delicasy. It was funny in a twisted sort of way.
