Her: What did you guys do today?
Me: We cleaned the house, watched some tv, gave out some rent receipts. Y'know. Same ol' crap.
Her: Really? Did you guys really clean the house?
Me: Yeah. Reorganized all of the toys in the living room, did dishes, cleaned the floors. Winnie dusted.
Her: CUTE! Did you take out something for dinner?
Me: No... you didn't ask me to.
Her: I didn't? Okay. We'll get pizza or something. Did you take her for a walk?
Me: Nope.
Her: Why not? I thought I told you to take her for a walk. Why didn't you do that?
Me: Guess.
Her: Because she was cranky?
Me: Nope.
Her: Because you were cranky?
Me: Nope. Guess again.
Her: ... I don't know.
Me: Sure you do. Think hard.
Her: ...beeeecause I told you to.
Me: The student surpasses the teacher, grasshopper.
Her: Whatever. Have her ready to go for a walk when I get home.
