I kind of loved Studio 60 last night. I thought Weber was terrific and I don't know - maybe I'm just a sucker for meta commentary but I kind of liked that they were acknowledging that a lot of their stuff wasn't funny and was just pretentious. I'm all- hey this must be the first show they were able to tweak after all the criticism started rolling in.
I don't know why but I kind of flashed back to the original I Love Lucy gets locked up in a jail cell scene (which is weird because Lucy is nothing like Studio 60) but it just seemed so weird (who are the Asian people, why is Tom dressed like that, where's Matt)that it instantly put me in a okay this is weird, I'm interested what's going on way.
I do have a hard time looking at Jordan (and Marcia Cross) without thinking hey they're pregnant. Bring on the big coats.
I do like the continuity with the United Nations show, the theme park in wherever it is and the black comic.
As for Heroes - I liked the Micah reveal and the action at the car crash a great deal. Plus Claire and friend trying to get brother out of the car - hee, hee, hee. Because that was totally like what a sibling would do - I'm telling Mom, I'm locked in the car and friend jumping on the bumper - hee. Matt needs to say buh bye to wifey and end this storyline because I for one want to move on. K guys?
