I am looking to buy a new car and am terrible at making decisions. Based on what I've test driven so far, my favorites are the Mazda Mazda6 and the Nissan Altima, the former having an edge. That weird, irrational edge you get when you start making up excuses why it's better and everything else is not as good. The Toyota Camry was fine but not nearly as fun and sporty as those two, and the Chevy Malibu just didn't do it for me, irritating salesman and all. I have yet to drive the Hyundai Sonata and the Ford Fusion. Any advice would be appreciated! This car will determine my self-worth, after all.
Crisis on Infinite Heroes
So I guess I was wrong about what this season would be about. I think a post-crash survival tale with enemies forced to work together would be more interesting, but what do I know? After all, this arc is called "Fugitives," not, um, whatever you would call the people in my story. "Survivors"?
We did get some interesting stuff, though! I liked this episode more than last week's, if only because it clarified some things I had issues with. I like the uneasy alliance between Bennet and Petrelli, each going along with this plan in the interest of protecting someone they love. Bizarrely, it appears that although Claire does get some special treatment from Nathan, his real concern is Peter. I wonder if there will come a time when Nathan will have to choose between his daughter and his brother. Except it won't really be exciting because we know Nathan doesn't really give a flip about Claire. It's always Peter this and Peter that with him.
Also, Zeljko Ivanec doesn't know Nathan has powers! Hrm. That does complicate things. Could get messy.
Pac-Man is really terrible at stopping his pictures from coming true. I am not a fan of Daphne dying! She is cute! She has high-speed cleavage! I know it was only a matter of time since she was a) a guest star and b) a woman, but dammit.
Hiro was annoying again in this episode. Le sigh. What happened to that time he kind of matured? Stop quoting random bullshit about heroes and destiny and say something meaningful. There are plenty of good reasons why you should be in this fight despite not having powers. You want to help your friends. Ando fucking helped out, and-I was about to say so did you, Mohinder, except I don't think he ever helped at all. You hope you'll get your powers back. You don't want to go back to your normal life. There are many rational things you could say, Hiro; stop talking out of your ass. Also, you will never send that guy money for gas, come on now. (Okay, that was cute.)
Sylar is up to his old tricks again! Except now he has an annoying lie detector that he must continually call attention to. You are not Toph, my friend, now shut it. I wonder what sort of adventures he and his young Padawan, Luke Stuffmelter, will have together.
Peter's dramatic monologue was so cheesy, but he made it all sound very cool and exciting! Heroes on the run! Joining forces, fighting back!
Who is Claire's mysterious text messaging friend? IT BETTER NOT BE WEST. Whoever it is, dude types fast. Is it Hana? ALSO WHY DOES HE OR SHE TYPE LIKE THIS.
