From Shit to Skit in 48 Hours

Back in October at the AMWA conference, I discovered that at the regional conference, they always had a little skit based on a musical. Having learned of its existence, naturally, I wanted to be a part of it. What follows is the nail-biting adventure that followed.

Pre-Show: Writing the script and pre-directing the show )

...I think I'm in love with you.
I should include this link in my biodata, eh? Who wouldn't want to marry THAT guy?

And possibly considering switching professions.
Medical writers do it with...er, something clever and ribald.

I was also thinking, as I was reading this, that I'm really happy for you; you seem to have found a great profession that you fit really well into. A lot of people are working jobs but don't really have something they can call their "profession." You are lucky.

I sometimes think that I don't ever want to leave medical writing because I don't want to leave AMWA. It's too much fun!

Well, there are the annual conferences, pretty much. The regional chapters have more events throughout the year, though, like museum outings or, um, bocce ball.
