The last update for Mnemevore is September 10, 2007 as "script" and it is listed as "in production" by Angry Films and Coalition. The same producers as Fanboys and 50 Pills, so that makes sense. No other details really.

I thought Final Friends was about a party, not so much a prom. I'm sure that's what she was talking about, but it's really about a party. I know it's The Party, The Dance, and The Graduation, but it kind of revolves around Alice's death in the first book, which happens at a house party, not the prom and OMG I need to stop talking about Christopher Pike books. But I do love them so much. Fall Into Darkness (where people actually do fall off a cliff) is my favorite.

Heeee!! I love you, Anna, and your shared love of Christopher Pike. And, yes, you're right about The Party, but I'm sure that's what she was talking about it too. Good books there. (I'm not sure how high Fall into Darkness rates for me. I don't think it's one of my top five, though (if, say, we're allowed to lump in series like Final Friends and The Last Vampire and Remember Me as one. Other faves included Die Softly, Spellbound, and...most of them, I guess. I loved those books. Last Act, Master of Murder, The Eternal Enemy, Witch, Chain Letter... I also loved his adult books like Season of Passage, The Listeners, and The Cold One.)

And thanks for the help on Mnemevore! That's interesting. I wonder if Kristen and Ryan are still involved.

I think I have a strange negative association with it due to the stupid made-for-TV movie starring Tatyana Ali. I remember very little about the book itself. Most of them, really. I have little memories of scenes or moments or impressions. It's been a long time.

now i have an urge to read a whole bunch of CP books.

Didn't they make a tv movie of that one, with the girl from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air?

I think I've read practically every Christopher Pike book ever written, including the adult novels. I actually love The Season of Passage quite a bit.
