And I guess it depends on what you consider "out of nowhere." I didn't watch the beginning of the season, so I don't know how unexpected this was, but Aaron's definitely creeped me out for a while. And after he drove Veronica home a couple of episodes ago, I even said he creeped me the hell out and that part of me was wondering if HE raped Veronica. Then, of course, he had his arms draped around HS chicks at Logan's party and that definitely made me go "ew." So if by out of nowhere you mean "within the past few episodes," then yeah.
And again, missed the first few episodes, but I'm not surprised about Lilly sleeping with him. The only thing I've ever been surprised about with Lilly is that Veronica was ever her friend, because she's always struck me as annoying and shallow. I guess we're supposed to see how fun-loving and carefree Veronica used to be, but fun-loving and carefree is different from what Lilly was, in my opinion.
