This was technically the first piece of art I made for spn_reversebang this year, but the second one to be posted.

Under the cut will be my original prompt and the additional art I made for the resulting story, " Dovetail Shuffle."

Heh, you already mentioned a couple of issues with the artwork yourself, but nevertheless: that concept is marvelous and it all looks and feels funky and fitting to your prompt :-) I like that you added a backstory with the postcards. I also loved hearing how you came up with the idea. I hate when I don't get the trick, so magicians often make me cranky, but I have a soft spot for 'our' Hans Klok (I'm from the Netherlands and feel a bit possesive towards him;)

Thank you for the comments! I really like Hans Klok. His regular assistants are pretty and it's fun to watch them do tricks. The speed at which they do some illusions really is quite amazing. I hope he comes back to America and tours again.
