It's funny, coz ever since reading your last fic, I got out Miracles and watched a couple of episodes. ( been a couple of years since I've done that and suddenly missed Skeety boy!) So, Last night as I drifted off to sleep, I kinda had a mixed dream-awake- kinda moment. ( I'm not sure which of the 2 it was. *shrug*) I had some pretty clear images though. So I thought, if you don't mind, that I'd run past what went through me last night. It's the thought of Paul actually meeting Cas. ( If this sucks btw, I'm very okay for you to say so...I'm not a softy and won't be offended.
So the whole thing about God being missing ( not talking about season 6 finale and Misha becoming the big kahooner) Cas has been out looking for God.
What if...Paul was HE? Or more's the point what if God wanted to incarnate into Paul? (God is Now Here-present) When Paul first met Tommy he was healing and dying..Paul sees the sign "God is Coming on the train"..what he's actually doing is 'seeing' God's calling.....God can't stay incarnate in one body for too long...and needed a 'host' for a while. That host being Tommy When the train wreck happens and his Life Blood is poured,Tommy touches Paul. He's actually passing on Gods essence. ( Gawd! This is hard to put down in words) Paul can feel the presence of 'something' ( so can Alva) and this is why he has such deep empathy with Mankind and the ability to 'feel' on another level. ( he's literally feeling every soul on the planet) So, Cas who's been looking for his missing Father eventually meets Paul through his dealings with the bro's and the amulet ( which Cas rescued out of the trash can--because I hated that Dean threw it away, just like that!)begins to vibrate in Paul's presence. ( because where else would/could God be- but on the Earth plain, right?) Cas know's that to just blurt out whom Paul really is would be too much for him and although God is in him..because of Paul's now lack of faith, has to come-up with a plan in order convince Paul of his destiny and what Gods presence on the Earth Plain really means. ( this part is just a weak thought at the mo) Maybe, God is on the Earth-Plane to stand as referee in the fight between Michael and Lucifer..or God needs a human vessel in order to put a stop..seeing that the fight is being fought on the 3D plane and not on the ethereal plane Anyway, those were the images that ran rampant through my minds eye last night. Just thought I'd share. I'm no writer ( as you can clearly see - lol ) but thought if you needed ( if I may be so presumptuous?) an idea.
I know this whole sorry plot seems like a plagiarism from the only other fic with both Paul and Cas, but I thought this could be fuller, more meaty. Anyhoo...I'll take my sorry ass outta here and back to watching Miracles. Thanks for your time. ~San *blush*

Thanks so much for providing story suggestions; I really love it when people like my stories enough to give them this much thought! However, I've already planned quite a bit ahead in my fic universe to have given Paul and Tommy other mystical/religious purposes. Eventually all of this will be revealed. Remember how in "Beloved Sin," Ruby said someone is The Relic, and it was revealed through what happened in the story that this is Paul? More will be told about that in future stories. :)
