Sacha was enjoying the teasing treatment from his boyfriend. He almost felt guilty as he was lying there and being pleasured, but he knew that Dylan was enjoying this just as much. Eventually his cock was getting fully hard and he couldn't resist the temptation and propped himself up on his elbows. Just when Sacha looked down at his lover, he saw Dylan's lips slowly slide down on him, swallowing his cock to its very base. Dylan kept it in his mouth. The pressure of Dylan's throat around his cock and the movements of his tongue over his shaft were driving Sacha crazy, but he didn't dare to move or buck his hips, not to hurt or choke him. Those sensations and the sight of Dylan's face buried in his crotch... "Fuck, Dylan... You should see how hot you look like this," he breathed out.
Sacha didn't doubt Dylan had many qualities and skills, but certainly giving head must have been one of his most developed talents, he thought.

Val didn't think it was the right moment to ask, but it looked like Sam and Lilly were quite fond of each other, and he caught a slight smile on Dean's face which seemed to indicate he thought the same. He had listened to the brief description she gave of her skills. It was nothing he had ever witnessed, except in movies, but from Dean and Sam's comments, it seemed all genuine.
The atmosphere of good humor vanished almost immediately when Bailey walked into the kitchen with Kerry and the dog. Kerry looked scared and Val wasn't sure she would have been able to walk all the way from her bedroom to the kitchen if Bailey hadn't been holding her. Val's heart squeezed. He felt bad when she looked at Sam and started to cry. He remembered Dylan's theory. Maybe all Kerry really saw when she looked at him was her dead brother? And maybe now, after the dreamwalking, she was aware of this and the fact that she wasn't where she was supposed to be? She wasn't in her world? Even if this was the case and this might have been quite confusing for her, he didn't like to see her so sad and vulnerable.
"Hi, Bailey, hi Kerry," he said. "I hope you slept alright last night, after the dreamwalking."
Kerry sat without looking at anyone. Val anyway felt like saying something else to her to try to reassure her. "You did great last night. Thanks for letting me in and showing me what you did. I know Dylan will try to help you with all of this now." Val was also curious to ask Kerry whether she had felt different, more in control of herself - now that he had neutralized Steven's daughter's ghost, but he didn't want to upset her more than she already was. That question could wait for later, maybe when Kerry would be alone.
Dylan carefully eased Sacha's cock out of his mouth, letting it go with a wet sucking sound. He panted a little after holding his breath for a short time; it was even hard to breathe through one's nose with a dick deep within your mouth. "Why don't you show me how it looks?" he suggested, almost challenging Sacha to do it. "Take a picture with your phone. Then you'll have something to look at when we're apart that will really make you miss me." Dylan ran his tongue along Sacha's shaft, looking at him, waiting to see if he wanted to take the photo.
*****
At first, Kerry kept her head down and did not respond to Val's question. When he continued to speak to her, she got up and ran to him, hugging him around the neck and bursting into tears. "I - I c-c-can't do th-this, can't t-t-t-take it. They're m-m-mine but not m-mine."
Bailey stepped between Val and the stove. "Let me take over here. You take Kerry to another room and talk with her. I'll let you know when breakfast is ready." She smiled gently at Val. "Kerry told me a little about her memories before we came in here, but you know a lot more than I do right now."
Sam and Dean looked at each other, expressions of sympathy on their faces.
Sacha didn't understand right away what Dylan meant. He was too caught up in how good it felt to be able to think straight. Then when his blond boyfriend suggested he take a picture of him going down on him, Sacha almost choked. "Dylan... I... No, no way," he said.
He wasn't really shocked, but he also wasn't keen on having any picture of that kind on his phone or have anyone take pictures of him in any intimate settings. That was just way beyond his comfort zone.
"I don't need a picture to remember how good you look," he added, to reassure Dylan. "And a picture wouldn't do justice at how good you make me feel."

Val was caught off guard when Kerry threw herself at him. He froze for a few seconds and then without thinking too much, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly.
He led Kerry to the library and tried to calm her. "Kerry, don't cry. Things are alright now... I mean. Here. You've seen Sam and Dean, they're both here, safe and well." Val rubbed circles across her back as he spoke to try to soothe her. "You're speaking to me, did you notice? That's great."
"Kerry, can I ask you something?" Val's usual soft voice had turned into a whisper. "Yesterday, Dylan suggested something... He said you might have gone through all these events you showed me in the dreamwalk in a different world or reality. Not our reality, not where you are now. Is that the case?"
Val gently pushed Kerry out of his embrace and tilted her chin up to look at her face. "Do you know how you ended up here, in a place where Dean and Sam are alive?"
"Awww. Party pooper." Dylan smirked before brushing Sacha's cock with his lips. "You got such a great photographic memory, get your peepers ready to memorize this image." He took the hard cock in his mouth again and lowered his head slowly down on it, taking it very deep into the warm, wet cavern of his mouth and throat. Humming, Dylan bobbed his head up and down a few times, and eventually let Sacha's cock fall from between his lips, then chuckled and wiped his mouth. "I love your dick," he declared. "Seriously, it's the most fascinating dick I've ever sucked. All the extra ridges and skin to play with, and all of it feels good to you, no matter what I lick."
Feeling saucy and playful, Dylan crawled up the bed with a devilish look on his face. "I love your dick." He kissed it. "I love your tummy." Kiss. "I love your heart." Kiss. "I love your eyes." He kissed the creases next to one of Sacha's eyes. "I love your mind." Kiss, to the side of his head. "I love your lips." Kiss. "Most of all, I just love you." Dylan gave him one last kiss on the mouth.
He lay next to Sacha, partially draped against his chest, and played with his hair. "Wise men say... only fools rush in," Dylan began to sing. "But I can't help falling in love with you. Shall I stay? Would it be a sin... if I can't help falling in love with you?" Dropping kisses on his neck, Dylan reached Sacha's ear and whispered, "Make love to me, Sacha."

"I w-woke with a stutt-stu-stutter, but-but I can think b-b-better to... to put my s-s-sentences together. I think, I think this w-will get better o-o-over t-time." Kerry took his hand. "Th-thank, thank you, Val, for help-helping me find myself. There were things I-I couldn't ex-ex-express until you saw my-my memories. At least now I, I can tell ev-everyone what happened to-to me and, and what I saw."
After listening to Val's question, Kerry nodded. "Yeah, I think s-so. My brothers and I-I have-have been through some weird th-things that proved the eh-exist-t-tance of alternate dimensions to us years a-ago. As crazy as it s-sounds, it's the only th-thing that makes sense of-of what happened to me and my f-family and what I'm seeing now." To illustrate her point a bit comically, Kerry poked Val in the chest. "Yup, you're r-real."
"If I hadn't seen my-my brothers alive and unpossessed with my oh-oh-own eye-eyes, I wouldn't have be-believed that I stepped into another dimension, but it just-just can't be denied. I mean, there was-was Dylan, and then there he w-was again, only different. I immediately kn-knew something wasn't quite right."
Scrunching up her eyes, Kerry tried to remember how she got from one dimension to the other. "D-Dylan and Renae were f-f-fighting again, about me, and I f-felt guilty. I wandered away. There was this sliver of golden light just hang-hanging in the air, close to-to Dylan's house. I felt dr-drawn to it. So-so I walked through. The weather ch-changed. S-s-suddenly, instead of mild and pleasant, the s-sun beat down on me and it was v-very hot. I walked a-r-r-round for hours before I heard Dylan's voice. But he looked different. Eventually, I-I figured out that I had passed through-through a portal between dimensions."
Her head down, Kerry said, "Val, my brothers, th-they're going to think I'm crazy. As far as they kn-know, they have no sister, because here, they d-don't." She raised her head. "How do I convince them of who I-I am?"
Sacha didn’t mind Dylan making fun of him a bit, especially since it seemed to have made him want to make it even more showy when he went down on him again. He did as told and kept his eyes on Dylan, watching in awe as his reddened lips took all of him once more.
Sacha reclined on the mattress. He let Dylan slowly climb back up to his level. This was one of the things that had made him fall in love with the blond. This ability to switch instantly from silly to sexy, playful and flirty to romantic and loving.
Sacha held Dylan’s head when he had reached his mouth and kissed him. He kissed back and then let go, curious to see what would Dylan’s next move be.
Dylan’s voice was sultry and the hunter quickly had Sacha under his spell with his sensual serenade. When he finished and began to plant kisses on the side of his neck, Sacha sighed. A long and vocal sigh heavy with want and need turned into a feline growl when Dylan whispered to him what he wanted.
Sacha swiftly turned to his side and then moved over Dylan, rolling his boyfriend on his stomach before crawling on top of him and kissing his shoulders and nape. “Mmmmhh... You’re so good at teasing me...” Sacha whispered next to his ear. He snaked his arms under Dylan, holding him close, and started to move his hips in circles, making sure his rock hard cock was rubbing against Dylan’s butt cheeks. “Like this?” A couple more circular movements of Sacha’s hips left a few short streaks of precum over the curve of Dylan’s ass. “I want to love you any way you want... Tell me...”
****
“Kerry, you’re speaking so well now,” Val complimented her. Of course, she was still stuttering and looking for her words and hesitating while she was talking, but it was fantastic progress. “Dylan is going to be so impressed and so proud of you...”
Val decided not to interrupt her as she tried to recall and tell about how she ended up in this world and universe. Val thought Dylan might probably understand better what she was describing and explaining.
There was panic and fear in Kerry’s eyes when she asked Val about what Dean and Sam might think of her. “Kerry, don’t worry about that, okay? Soon Dylan will be up and he’ll speak with you. He understands these different worlds or dimensions and he will believe you. And Sam and Dean... I haven’t known them for long, but they’re good people, and they must have seen many supernatural things or beings with their job. They will understand, I’m sure.”
Val moved back a little more to look at her and then closed the gap between them and took Kerry back in his arms, as if she had been a long lost relative he’d finally met for the first time. “It will go fine, they will believe you. They will understand you,” he said softly. “I know they will. I will tell them what I saw, what you showed me. Don’t worry...”
Dylan let out a high moan when Sacha took charge, turning him over and kissing the back of his shoulders and neck. He squirmed and grabbed fistfulls of the covers when his boyfriend began to hold him while he rubbed his hard cock against Dylan's backside, imitating the sex act. Dylan couldn't help but stroke his cock and balls against the bed, the soft covers and blanket underneath him. "Fuck, Sacha... take me just like this. On my stomach." Breathing hard already, he stuck his butt up a few inches, trying to increase the contact between them. "Please, I need you inside me. You feel so good, practically cumming on me already."
*****
"None of-of this would h-have been possible without your help," Kerry said. "Th-that really is an-an amazing ability you h-have."
"Maybe this S-Sam and Dean know about the eh-existence of-of alternate dimension-sions? Maybe it w-won't sound so cra-crazy." Val took her in his arms again, and Kerry started to cry once more, also wrapping her arms around him. "This is ah-all so overwhelming, but I'm s-so grateful to you for bringing me this f-f-far. Please, just hold me for-for a little while. I'm s-s-scared."
Sacha kept on kissing and lightly biting Dylan's nape and the curve where his neck met his shoulder. He could feel Dylan push back against him, looking for more friction. Sacha reached for the bedside table and grabbed the lube with one hand while he kept his other hand and arm around Dylan.
His boyfriend wasn't in the mood for more teasing. Sacha lubed his cock and wiped the extra bit of gel that was still on his fingers over Dylan's hole. He resisted the temptation of sliding a finger past the tight ring of muscles. Dylan seemed too worked up already, so Sacha just pushed his legs apart a bit wider and eased inside him in one go. "Dylan..." he groaned in his ear. "So hot... So willing... All mine..." Sacha continued to whisper while he started to pull out and then plunged back in his lover.
He pushed one hand under Dylan, reaching between his body and the mattress, searching for Dylan's cock.

Val smiled some more as Kerry continued to talk, despite her emotions and stress, which were probably making it even more difficult than it already was for her to articulate words. He wasn't sure how long she had not been able to talk, but she surely was determined now to beat whatever trauma had held her back. "Dylan will be there to help you. I'm here to help you... We understand there are other worlds and dimensions around... Dean and Sam have seen many supernatural things. Don't worry. They won't say it's crazy."
An odd feeling washed over Val as Kerry hugged him back. He barely knew her and he certainly didn't know much of her story, but his protective shamanic instincts were on full alert for Dylan's sister as if she was his own little sister. "Don't be scared."
"Oh God, yes! Yes yes yes! Bite me! Not hard enough to draw blood, but just like that," Dylan begged. Something about Sacha acting wild fulfilled a fantasy for him. It had nothing to do with wanting to be fucked by an animal, but to have an aspect of wildness, of excitement, in much of his lovemaking.
Dylan shivered all over when Sacha rubbed a slick finger over his hole. "Yes, yes, baby! Fuck me! I want you!" He squirmed and panted, sticking his butt up several inches off the bed, anxious for it.
Then Sacha eased inside him. His mouth open, Dylan arched his back to push against Sacha and drive him deep inside. "Uhhhh, ahhhh! Oh Sacha! Yes, I'm so willing for you! Can't get enough of you inside me!"
Sacha began to thrust himself in and out of Dylan's body. Dylan moaned or mewled with each thrust and used his knees to push his backside against Sacha each time he slid inside, causing intense, delicious friction. "Ah! Ah! Ah!" Dylan grunted. At times, he buried his forehead in the blankets, clutching at them, continuing to grind back against his lover.
Within seconds of looking for it, Sacha's groping hand found Dylan's hard, dangling cock.
*****
Sitting back, Kerry proposed another possible issue. "I l-left my Sammy back in wh-wherever I, I came from, possessed by L-Lucifer. Don't I ha-have a moral obliga-gation to stop him from hurting ah-anyone else? What if he ends-ends the world in that d-dimension? It-It would partially be m-my fault. I don't know h-h-how to get back there, but I have to-to try." She sobbed hard. "To s-s-stop Lucif-f-fer, I may have to k-kill my Sammy." Kerry covered her face with her hands.
Dylan would feel Sacha's lips curl up into a smirk as he kept on biting - a tad harder but not much - the golden skin of his shoulders.
The familiar velvety heat of Dylan's ass welcomed him, gripping him tightly. Dylan had asked him to make love to him, and he was, but at the same time, behind the loving part, there was something more primal and raw, something that excited him and that Dylan seemed to sense and enjoyed as well. He wasn't sure if he was bringing that out of Dylan, through his lynx, who felt everything happening to him even when he was in his human form like this, or if Dylan was the one with this wilder side that somehow fitted him and his feline other persona so well, in ways he had never experienced before since he had never been himself with previous lovers or boyfriends.
Sacha kept on jerking Dylan off but moved back a little, admiring the arch of Dylan's back, who was pushing his butt up, fucking himself against his cock as much as Sacha was drilling into him.
Sacha wrapped his arms around Dylan's body again and flipped them over in one quick movement, ending up on his back with Dylan on top of him, his lover's back flush against his torso. He was still deep inside him. One of Sacha's hands traveled up and closed around Dylan's throat. He didn't squeeze it. He just pulled his head back, reveling in the way Dylan's hair fell all over his face. Sacha nuzzled the back of his head, smelling him and kissing him there, where the skin was warm and sweaty already. "Mmmmhh... Dylan..."
Sacha was holding Dylan with one arm around his waist and bucked his hips a few times, thrusting up. "Make yourself feel good..."

Val let go of Kerry so she could sit. He listened to her. Clearly she was still very confused and unsure what to do about her situation. Val didn't have any answers for her questions. He took one of her hands in his as she spoke. Then she hid her face and started to cry harder again at the idea that she might have to kill her brother to stop him in his destructive path. "Kerry, I don't know, but I think you should calm down. You should talk to Dylan. Maybe he will have ideas about what to do and how to go back there... If you want to go back."
A thought crossed Val's mind. He seemed to remember that Dylan had told him he had found Kerry a few years ago. If that was true and she had been in this world for long, was there still anything to save and rescue in the other dimension and world where she came from? Was Sam still alive there and even if he was, had he ruined her old world completely?
He tried to hide his concerns and thoughts. It was not up to him to talk about all that. Now that Kerry could talk and communicate much better, Dylan and her would probably have a lot to discuss and catch up with. If anyone could tell her how long she had been in this world now, it was Dylan.
"We should go back in the kitchen. Try to eat something, drink some tea. Dylan will be up soon and you two can talk and ask him what he thinks," he said as he held out his hand to help her up. "I know he's not your brother like Sam or Dean, where you come from. But he's considering you like his sister here, in this world. So you have a brother here too."
Dylan squirmed and shivered each time Sacha nibbled on him. It made him beyond happy that his boyfriend would indulge his fantasies, even the silly ones. Or at least, the ones that made him feel silly.
When Sacha took hold of his cock, Dylan breathed out loud and hard, shuddering all over. "Sacha!" he cried. He was reduced to a grunting, thrusting, sweaty mess of pleasure as the other man turned him on in multiple ways.
A bit surprised when Sacha turned them over, Dylan did his best to allow him the control so he wouldn't knock them both off balance. As soon as they were settled, he began pushing down on Sacha's cock again, arching his back to get the maximum amount of inches inside him as before. Dylan reached up to run his fingers through Sacha's hair, just to touch him. He turned his head so they could kiss. Dylan's hair was a mess all over Sacha's face, getting between their lips, in both their eyes, and the entire time, the bucking and stroking didn't stop. "FUCK me Sacha! Oh YES! YES!" Dylan simply laid back across his lover's shoulder, his long hair everywhere and Sacha's hand around his neck.
*****
"I... I don't th-think I want to go back permanen-nently. There isn't much left for m-me there now. I just w-w-want to clean th-things up and then c-c-c-come back, where I have friends, and a ch-chance at a new-new beginning," Kerry explained.
"I kn-know, we should eat, and I know I n-need to calm down and s-s-stop getting upset-set over things that may not h-happen. It's j-just... " Kerry's voice trailed off. Strangely, she was staring off into space, not moving, saying nothing, not appearing to see anything either, as she had been before the dreamwalks. A few seconds later, Kerry began speaking again. "...so hard n-not to speculate-late, you know?"
With Dylan’s hair all over his face, Sacha couldn’t see much, but he didn’t need to. He could feel his kisses, his mouth and his hot breath, hear his pants and moans and cries. ‘’Oh, Dylan… Zaichik… Oh, yes… You… Got me… So close…’’
Sacha kept on bucking his hips, holding Dylan tightly. His hand left his throat and traveled down his body to find his dick. He wasn’t sure how far behind him Dylan might be, but an instant later he let himself go and came inside him. He growled against Dylan’s ear and stilled while his body got rigid and he shot his load inside his lover. He didn’t pull out and continued to pump him, now solely focused on Dylan’s pleasure. ‘’Come for me… Come on, Dylan…’’
****
Val frowned when he saw Kerry’s face change. She was still talking to him, but then all of a sudden, her expression changed and she stopped speaking. She seemed to have gotten back into her catatonic state, but it only lasted for a brief instant. Then she was ‘back’ and talking to him. Val didn’t understand what she was talking about. It was as if she had started a sentence in her head, when she had zoned out, and just managed to say the end of it out loud, without noticing.
Maybe she was pushing herself too hard or maybe she was just too stressed, he thought.
“Let’s go for breakfast,” he told her. “I’ll make you tea, and we’ll start figuring things out.”
Dylan cried out at the feeling of Sacha climaxing inside him, so much that when he began to thrust again, he wasn't able to say much before Dylan came too. "Ahhh Sacha! It's all for you!" The cum shot out all over his chest and abdomen, dotting his body with pearls and glistening ropes. "Ohhh! My Sacha! Ohh... mmmm... I love you... I love you... I love what you do to my body..." The rest was panting, his chest heaving as he relaxed on top of Sacha.
Dylan swished some of his hair off their faces, giving Sacha the ability to see again. "We are incredible together," Dylan declared, and kissed him. "I love you."
*****
"C-certainly. I'm very hung-gry." Kerry mused to herself that she knew when she was hungry and when she had last eaten. How many years had it been that she could do that without help? "V-val, this is amazing. I'm so aw-w-ware right now." Hugging him as they walked, she said, "Thank you f-for all you've d-done for me."
They entered the kitchen. Everyone was setting the table with cooked food. "I was just about to come get you," Bailey said. "Do you need anything else?"
"A tea k-kettle." Kerry took a seat and began loading her plate up with eggs and French toast. They all knew that Dylan kept her well fed, but it still looked like she was very hungry, from the amount of food she was prepared to eat.
Bailey went into a cabinet and got out the tea kettle. "I'll put it on for you." Once that was done, she fixed herself a plate. "After Dylan gets up, we all need to assemble in the library to talk about the dreamwalk. Val, did you guys record your conversation while it was all fresh in your mind?"
Lilly took a little bite of egg cooked Val's way and one cooked Dean's way, the Winchester way. "Well, they're both good, but I like Val's egg a little more. I'm sorry, Sam."
He laughed. "It's okay."
For some reason, Dean couldn't stop watching Kerry eat. She ate with gusto, quickly and heartily, her French toast drowned in syrup. "You always were a big eater," he said with a grin.
Kerry stopped to look at him. "How w-would you know? I-I haven't been h-here that long."
Confused himself, Dean thought it over and finally had to shake his head. "I don't know. I don't even know why I said that." With a shrug, he finished, "Something that just popped in my head."
After a moment of silence to try to take it all in, Kerry leaned over and hugged Dean, kissing his cheek. She couldn't explain it, but somehow, he could remember some things only her Dean should remember. Maybe it was her presence there that was setting off this connection.
The grip of Sacha’s hand around his cock loosened after Dylan had come. He moved his head and kissed Dylan back before pushing him gently to the side. He eased out of Dylan and sat up, looking at the traces of cum Dylan had on his torso, and smiled. Sacha leaned over and kissed him now they were in a less awkward position to do so. “I love you,” he said before kissing him again, slowly.
Sacha moved down the bed and started to lick away all the drops of cum that were dotting Dylan’s chest and flat stomach, looking up at him every so often. When he was done, he didn’t have time to say or do anything further. His lynx was too eager to make an appearance. Within a few seconds, the lynx appeared, sitting next to Dylan, at the level of his hips. He made a small mewling noise and then butted his head against Dylan’s shoulder in a cat-style greeting as he began to purr and roll over on his side right next to him.

“I’m so glad you’re feeling better, like yourself again... I know the truth is tough, but you’ll find a way to deal with it now. You’re not alone.” Val nodded his head as she hugged him. “We thought the dreamwalk would help Dylan understand what you go through and why you were traumatized. I don’t think we expected it to help so much and so fast. It’s fantastic,” he said as he held her and hugged her back.
Once they were back in the kitchen, Val helped himself and decided to taste eggs Dean’s way with a couple of slices of French toast which Bailey had done. “Thanks for taking over the cooking,” he told her.
“Yes, Dylan recorded me recounting what I saw when we dreamwalked last night, both times.”
He saw Bailey going around with the kettle in the kitchen and remembered he had brought some tea with him. His cousin loved tea, and there was a very good Russian tea house in Stockholm where he had gone before coming over to buy him tea, as well as a gift to his host, after Sacha had told him he’d stay at the bunker instead of his apartment.
“I have brought some tea from home. It’s in my room still. Let me go get it if anyone wants to try it.” He took another bite of French toast and then got up, leaving the others to their breakfast.
Val walked in his bedroom and went to his travel bag where he had left the loose leaf bags of tea and a few tea infuser spoons he had brought as well, in case they had none.
Skylar was soundly sleeping in his bed. Val was tempted to go wake him up and drag him to the kitchen for breakfast, or to join him back and go sleep some more. Life was so much easier when you were sleeping, he thought.
He was amazed at Kerry’s progress and the fact that she could now speak and remember what had happened to her. All that thanks to his dreamwalking. He wished he could be more proud of what he had done and that he hadn’t had to trick and neutralise Kiera last night, though. Kerry hadn’t said anything about that yet. He wasn’t sure she was aware of that and what had happened when Steven did something to her to bring his daughter’s spirit to her.
Dylan lived for every kiss, draping his arms over Sacha's shoulders and around his neck as they shared a long, loving kiss. He watched his lover clean him up and then the next thing he knew, his lover had become a big cat.
"Hi Lynxcha!" he cried happily. Dylan took hold of Lynxcha under his front legs and pulled his top half on top of him so it was easier to cuddle him and give him a kiss on the head. "Hey buddy. How are you?"
After cuddling Lynxcha and ruffling his fur, Dylan repositioned himself on the bed so his head was on the pillows and he could partially cover himself with the covers and blanket. Then he patted the bed next to him. "Come here, Lynxcha. Let's cuddle and talk. Lie down next to me."
*****
Something about Val telling her she wasn't alone almost made Kerry cry again, but this time, they wouldn't be scared or sad tears - they would be happy tears. In the dimension where she had come from, almost everyone she loved was dead. Here, she could start over, and knowing they wanted her around only made it all easier. Kerry hugged Val tightly, hoping he didn't mind the closeness with someone he hardly knew.
Kerry nodded to his words; yes, it was amazing and freeing how much the dreamwalk sessions had helped. Val helped her find a truth she knew was there but had been running from, helped her face it and acknowledge it, looked at it with her until she could no longer deny what had happened. This had set her free.
She recounted all of this out loud to him, but with fewer words. "I know I h-have more work to d-d-do, but it's a lot-lot easier when you have p-people who care about you to-to help see y-you through. Th-thank you."
*****
"Not a problem. It looks like your talk helped Kerry, and that's what's important." Bailey put water in the old, antique kettle and put it on to boil.
Dean nodded and said, "I'm glad Dylan recorded you talking about the dreamwalks. You know how so many details of dreams fade over the hours or get changed as you forget them. This way, everything's still fresh in your mind when you talk about what happened."
Val told them about the tea he had brought. "Tea sounds great," Bailey agreed.
Something stirred in Val's bed, then a messy clump of blonde hair poked out from under the blankets. "Do I smell breakfast?" came Skylar's voice from his warm cocoon.
The lynx let Dylan pull him closer. He shook his head a few times after Dylan had kissed it and messed his fur, but he didn’t go away. He wasn’t completely familiar with the human greeting ways, but he could sense Dylan was friendly and meant well and the big cat loved the attention.
Sacha took the backseat and decided not to interfere. He hadn’t really decided to switch at that moment, but the lynx had decided for him, and there was no harm done. Besides, it seemed like Dylan was pretty happy to cuddle up in bed with him in his feline shape for a morning pillow talk.
The lynx watched as Dylan got himself comfortable. He understood the message when he saw him pat the spot next to him. The lynx lay on his side there, stretching his front paws all the way till he was touching Dylan’s chest. The lynx blinked a few times while looking at Dylan. He looked calm, but his ears kept on moving, probably picking up the noises around and from outside the bedroom.
****
Val was on his way out when he heard Skylar’s voice. He turned around and walked back towards the bed. “Maybe I smell of food, yes. I was cooking eggs and French toasts. Sorry I woke you up, again,” he said with a smile. “I was getting some tea I brought from Sweden. Real Russian tea. Wanna try some?”
Dylan took one of the paws touching him and kissed it too. Then he put an arm around Lynxcha and cuddled him closer, kissing his head and absently stroking his soft, furry belly. "Lynxcha, I just wanted you to know that I love you. You're my furry little buddy. Can you understand me? Meow if you know what I'm saying."
*****
"I think I'm more smelling it from the kitchen." Sitting up, Skylar poked out of the covers, which he had wrapped all around him. "Every bit of what you just said sounds delicious. I'll be there as soon as I get dressed. Unless you think I should go like this?"
He sat on the edge of the bed with the covers wrapped around him and tied them over one shoulder, like a toga. "What do you think?" Skylar posed.
Sacha couldn’t make his lynx meow or growl or do anything on request, so he waited to see what the lynx would do. Clearly, the big cat knew that Dylan was talking to him. Whether he actually understood what Dylan was telling him was another thing. However, like any animal, but even more so an animal that was also part human, the lynx had very acute instincts.
The lynx tilted his head to one side, looking intently at Dylan, and then made a little mewling sound while he batted at Dylan with one of his paws.
****
“Very stylish,” Val replied. “Put the throw over your shoulders too, like a cape, ‘cause it’s cooler in the kitchen,” he said before laughing.
“I’ll cook you some fresh French toasts, if you want to go shower first,” he added before going for the door. “See you in a bit, Älskling.”
Dylan laughed with delight before kissing Lynxcha's head once more. "You know, I think you can understand me, at least somewhat. Probably because you're a very special lynx. Do you love me too? Huh?" He rubbed his stubbley chin against the big cat's head, near his ear. "'Cause I want you to be my buddy forever."
*****
"I am at the height of fashion, don't you know." Standing, Skylar walked a short distance, posing in a stereotypical way as a model would when walking a catwalk, and was just as surprised as Val must've been when the blankets came untied and fell to the floor.
Skylar began to laugh, standing there naked, and then looked around for his clothes. "I think my underwear may actually be tangled up in these covers. No, I want to eat first. I'm starved, and that food smells sensational." He sat on the side of the bed to put on his underwear, which he found exactly where he'd said. "Älskling? What's that?" Skylar called as Val tried to escape out the door.
Head and chin rubbing was totally up the lynx’s alley when it came to PDAs, so he responded to that enthusiastically, pushing his head and the side of his cheek against Dylan’s.
After a moment, the lynx stopped and sat up on the bed, looking around. Dylan could see the cat nose moving, as if he was sniffing around. He moved to the end of the bed and jumped down to the floor, while he continued to sniff around.
****
Val laughed some more when the sheet fell from Skylar, who didn’t look embarrassed at all.
He had already stepped outside when he heard Skylar call after him. He turned around and smiled at him. “Just a cute nickname in Swedish,” he answered before closing the door behind him.
People were still eating when he came back in the kitchen. He took a few bites from his plate and then started to put tea in the infuser spoon. He still had the pack of tea open and placed it in front of Kerry for her to smell it. “Do you want to try this? It’s Sacha’s favorite tea.”
"Awwwww." Dylan cuddled with even more enthusiasm, continuing to rub his chin and cheek against Lynxcha's head. "I love to listen to you purr."
He made a similar sound when Lynxcha got up, except it went in the other direction. "Awww. Come back. I was enjoying cuddling with you." Crawling down the bed, Dylan rested his chin on his arms and watched Lynxcha strut the room. "What's the matter, boy? Is Timmy trapped in the well again? That clumsy oaf." He kept watching to see what the cat was up to. Did he smell the food in the kitchen, like Dylan did?
*****
"But what does it mean?" Skylar called again. He waited, but Val did not come back. "Hm." Getting his phone, he pulled up Google to see what he could find out there. "Let me sound this out..." Skylar did his best to figure out how the word was spelled. "'Alskling: Darling, honey, pet.' Cutesie nicknames already?" He couldn't help but smile. The sex was pretty good. Hell, it had been great. "Hmmm..." Still smiling, he put his clothes on.
Val came back to the kitchen. Kerry seemed excited, but she had no idea how to explain to Val what had just happened with Dean without getting straight into everything. This wasn't the time, so she would have to be excited for the tea.
"Of c-c-course I want to try it. But what are you-you d-doing there with the s-spoon? It doesn't c-come in a tea b-b-ag?"
Sam got up this time, getting a bunch of cups and saucers from a cabinet. "I found a tea set in here a few days ago. The cups and everything have been washed. For those of you who like a proper tea." Placing everything he had found in the center of the table with a flourish, he sat back down to eat.
Bailey tried to organize it, putting cups with saucers. The habits she had developed at home, fetching and carrying for a bunch of helpless men, died hard. The tea cups were plain, white with simple pink roses, and one was cracked. Bailey put that one aside.
The lynx circled around the bed and then went to the other bed, where Kerry would normally sleep. He jumped on it and sniffed around some more, not paying too much attention to Dylan, who was talking.
Sacha had no idea what his lynx was up to. Was he searching for Kerry? Why she wasn’t there?
The lynx finally sat on Kerry’s bed and looked at Dylan. He hissed at him and then jumped from Kerry’s bed to his own with one graceful, big leap. He landed right next to Dylan and looked at him and then growled, oblivious to the fact that his communication style wasn’t so clear to Dylan.
****
“It’s tea that you buy this way, they call it loose leaf. You can get many more mixes and flavors this way than just what they sell in the supermarket. And the tea is usually of better quality, so it tastes better too.”
Val looked at the vintage-looking tea set and cups that Bailey was putting on the table, but he couldn’t see what he mainly needed. “Do you have a large tea pot with the set? It would be better to have a large one to make tea for everyone.”
Dylan looked down at Lynxcha with a shrug. "Hey, what are you hissing about? I didn't do anything."
He gave it a good think. What could Lynxcha smell that would make him growl?
Then he spotted one of Sherman's toys lying on the floor, almost under Kerry's bed. "Oh, are you mad because you smell Shermy? But Shermy loves cats! He won't hurt you. He'll just want to play with you." Dylan realized Lynxcha probably wasn't afraid of Sherman. "Are you jealous? Because Shermy's a pet. He's not the other side of my boyfriend like you are." Carefully and slowly, he ran the back of his hand over Lynxcha's cheek. "Don't be jealous."
*****
"Oh yeah, I've heard of loose leaf tea." Bailey went to look for the tea pot that went with the set.
"I know where it is," Sam said, and showed Bailey where she could find it.
"How d-do you make a h-h-whole pot of loose leaf t-tea?" Kerry asked. "Do they m-make giant spoons like th-that?"
A voice came from the doorway. "Kerry? Listen to you!" It was Skylar. "You're carrying on a conversation like a regular person."
The amazement and emotion in his voice made her stand up. "I s-st-stutter."
"Who cares? You're not catatonic." Skylar grabbed her up in his arms and hugged her off her feet. She hugged him around the neck.
"I love you, Sk-skylar."
"I love you too, Kerr-Bear."
Even Dean, who was the most emotionally guarded, got choked up from the scene.
He took a seat at the table, wiping tears from his eyes. "Val, is this what you did? This is amazing!" A smirk came to his face. "My liten snoka."
If Val could have secret Swedish nicknames, then so could he. The only problem was his phone gave him the verb form of the word he'd been looking for instead of the noun.
Sacha figuratively rolled his eyes at the notion of his lynx being jealous of the dog. Yet, the mention of Shermy by Dylan reminded him that there was a dog in the house. He had conveniently forgotten about that since their last talk on the subject the day before.
The lynx let out a few other raspy meows at Dylan, but he let himself be petted and ended up rolling on his back again and rubbing himself against Dylan, just to make sure his scent, alongside Sacha's human scent, was well all over him now. That should do as a subliminal animal message when the dog would approach him again.
****
Val waited for Sam to bring the tea pot and see how large it was. "I have two spoons like that. Usually two is enough for a large tea pot. You just have to let it infuse for a few minutes. We can do it again if it's not enough." Val picked up the spoon and examined it. "Maybe I should have gotten a bigger one. I didn't think about that, sorry," he said to Kerry.
He couldn't help but smile when he saw Skylar's face. He had just heard his sister having a normal conversation, for the first time since he had met her. He couldn't have cared less that she was stuttering. Val himself was not really paying attention to that.
"She does all the hard work. I just helped her realize it was fine to share her memories when I dreamwalked, I guess."
There was no more French toast, so when Skylar sat at the table to eat, Val got up and went to go and cook some more. Skylar surprised him with a strangely pronounced thing that was probably supposed to be a Swedish pet name for him. Val looked back at him and chuckled. "Nice try," he quipped back. "Maybe I can teach you some more later on."
A few minutes later, Val put two slices of French toast on Skylar's plate. At the same moment, the back pocket of his pants vibrated. When he pulled out his phone, he saw it was his boyfriend, Henrik. He smiled and picked up and put the pan back on the oven. He started to speak Swedish and walked out of the kitchen, not before giving a quick glance at Skylar.
Grinning subtly, Dylan kept stroking Lynxcha's cheek as the cat continued scolding him. "Oh, I know, you're so mad at me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bug you with the presence of an ol' mangy dog. You're still number one around here, Lynxcha, don't worry." After a few minutes of petting Lynxcha's face, ears, head, and side, he rolled over on his back and presented his tummy for Dylan to rub.
"Awww, see? You do still love me, don't you?" He stroked the big pussy cat all over his stomach and chest, running his fingers over his cheeks and ears before going back down the furry, warm stomach. "You're sooo soft. My good kitty."
When the fearsome purr machine began rubbing against him, Dylan had to giggle because he was still naked, and the fur aggressively being rubbed on the outer parts of his thigh, hip, and backside tickled. He laid down on the bed to give Lynxcha the ability to rub on his chest and face. They snuggled cheek to cheek as Dylan buried his face in the lusciously soft fur, dropping kisses on the cat's head. It wasn't a sexual experience, but might've looked that way to someone who didn't understand their relationship. Dylan loved to snuggle.
Eventually, Dylan sat up and stretched. "The smell of that food has reminded me that my stomach is empty. You wanna go get breakfast?" He got up and began to get dressed. "If you're coming with me, you probably want to switch back. I don't know what Lynxcha eats. Would he eat people food or a nice, big, raw steak?" he joked.
*****
Looking through a drawer, Bailey took out another infuser spoon. "Hey look, another one of those spoon thingies. I guess someone from the Men of Letters liked loose leaf tea too." She handed it to Val.
It seemed like the two spoons would handle the tea pot just fine. At that moment, the kettle began to whistle.
Skylar and Kerry sat back down, and he put an arm around her. "That's the first time she's ever just clearly said 'I love you, Skylar,' with the words strung together that way." He gave her temple a noisy smooch.
Kerry beamed, declining to make a comment about her not saying it clearly, since she had stuttered.
Skylar got up to help Val cook some additional eggs too, since he knew more people would be waking up hungry, and soon. "What's the matter with my Swedish pet name for you? My phone said it was a correct translation." Nudging Val with his elbow, he pleaded, "Come on, tell me what I said."
Skylar sat down to eat, turning off the burner under his frying pan. There was now a plate full of fluffy scrambled eggs waiting for any new person who may enter the kitchen, along with more French toast. When Val began speaking Swedish and left the kitchen, Skylar watched him go and made a "Hurumph" sound. "I wonder who that is."
Sacha was actually almost ready to fall asleep in his lynx form. His big cat was happily purring and curled up on top of Dylan, getting all the petting and attention he wanted. But Dylan sat up after a long snuggling session and he mentioned breakfast. Sacha switched back to his human form. He was lying on the bed on his side, in the same spot where the lynx was a few seconds before, and was watching Dylan get dressed. ‘’I can’t believe he was jealous of the dog,’’ Sacha chuckled.
He stretched and walked up to Dylan. ‘’Thanks for taking some time to be with him. He loves it, as you could see.’’ Sacha looked around, searching for his own clothes. ‘’Can I borrow a t-shirt? Mine still smells of Jack from last night.’’
Sacha put his jeans on. ‘’Where did the dog sleep for the night? Is he inside?’’ he asked.
If Dylan had caught up with the little jealous hints of the lynx a moment ago, now it was pretty clear that Sacha was a little uneasy about the idea of seeing the dog around.
****
Val watched with amusement when Skylar followed him behind the stove to cook some eggs. ‘’I’m not sure what you meant to say or what you asked your phone to translate,’’ he said with a side smile, since he had no idea what Skylar thought he had said. It sounded like 'little' something, but he couldn’t be sure what the something was supposed to be. ‘’But I’m flattered for the effort.’’ He put a slice of soaked bread into the pan and started to cook it. ‘’I won’t tease you anymore, sorry,’’ he said, hoping that in the end, Skylar wouldn’t take his comment or the initial pet name he had used for him the wrong way since he didn’t mean to annoy him or make fun of him.
Val had not meant much by it. It had just come out naturally, but now he thought that he should have probably just shut up.
"Lotsa times, animals get jealous of other animals. There's no reason for it." Standing at the sink to freshen up, Dylan looked at Sacha over his shoulder. "Plenty of me to go around." He wiggled his eyebrows.
"I love spending time with Lynxcha. Whether you're a person or a kitty, I always love snuggling with you."
He went in his dresser to get Sacha a shirt. "Why was Audrey so clumsy anyway, to drop a bottle of booze in the sink?"
"Shermy slept in here with Kerry for a few hours, then moved to Bailey's room when she did." Dylan, pulling his shirt on over his head, watched Sacha's body language for several seconds. "Will you do a favor for me? Will you please come and meet Shermy before you decide he hates you?"
*****
"Awww. But I like it when you tease me." Skylar winked. He added a little butter to the eggs, knowing it would make them tastier and fluffier. While speaking with him, Skylar kept his voice down so only Val could hear him. "I was trying to call you my little ferret, because you remind me of a pet I had years ago. My silver, broad-shouldered ferret." He looked at Val with his mischievous little smirk. "All slinky and beautiful, with a tendency to get into everything out of curiosity. 'Snoka' is supposed to mean ferret. I guess my phone screwed it up somehow. What did I call you instead?"
‘’I never had any pets when I grew up, so I guess I’m not so used to animal behavior like you are. I think you reassured him," he said with a smile.
‘’I don’t know. She was talking in her usual animated way, with a lot of hands in the air and that’s how she knocked the bottle that was on the counter. I had just put it there instead of the shelf, so it’s my fault too, I guess. I’ll go to my apartment and get a change of clothes, also for tomorrow.’’
Sacha took the shirt that Dylan gave him and put it on. He knew there was no way he could avoid talking about the dog now, so when Dylan asked him to come and meet him, he didn’t have any choice. Sacha rubbed his forehead and looked at Dylan. ‘’Okay, but don’t expect miracles. It’s a dog and I’m a cat. He’ll know. And I know you said your dog likes cats, but I’m not sure my lynx likes dogs.’’
When he was ready, he gave Dylan a light tap on the ass. ‘’I’m hungry. Let’s go eat.’’
****
Val felt better when he noticed that Skylar had taken everything the right way and was having fun teasing him back. He listened carefully when Skylar dropped his voice and explained to him what he was trying to call him. Val still didn’t understand what word Skylar had come up with in Swedish, but now that he mentioned 'ferret,' he knew what animal he meant. ‘’It’s funny you’d call me like that. It’s not my spirit guide animal, but maybe things got mixed up,’’ he chuckled. ‘’Sorry, I’m still not sure what you or your phone said, but the word for ferret is ‘tamiller’.’’
((Notes: Snoka is the Swedish verb form of 'ferret,' as in to ferret, to sneak around, to get to the bottom of something by being sneaky. Ferrets are known for getting into everything and being sneaky. This is where Skylar made his mistake. I (Sailorhathor) thought it would be an adorable mistake to make, and understandable when dealing with a new language.))
"If you and Shermy can't get along, it's not the end of the world. Just give it a chance and I'll be happy."
Dylan grinned when Sacha tapped him on the butt. "Somebody else cooked us breakfast. Their feelings would be hurt if we didn't eat it." He opened the door and they headed toward the kitchen.
*****
"Ah, okay." Skylar nodded, playing the words over in his head. "I like the sound of the word 'snoka.' So you're my snoka. But it means 'ferret.' Because even though the ferret isn't your spirit animal, you still remind me of one." After checking to make sure no one was watching, Skylar leaned in and gave him a small kiss on the lips. He came away with his familiar smirky grin.
"Are there any animals I remind you of?" Skylar was enjoying the flirtation between them, all these fun, romantic little games.
Shortly after, Dylan and Sacha walked in. "Good morning everyone."
Skylar immediately turned around. "Kerry's forming sentences on her own!"
"What?" Dylan approached the table where everyone was sitting. His brother's words conjured up much simpler mental pictures than what he was about to encounter. "Kerry, are you talking up a storm?"
"Yes!" she replied. "I w-woke up and I could form-form thoughts ag-g-gain. I can put words together-gether well enough to m-make sentences. It's miraculous." She rolled her eyes. "Although, I have th-this s-stutter."
Dylan's face couldn't have been more delighted and surprised at the same time. "Oh, Kerry! That's remarkable!" She stood up and he hugged her tightly. It was the first time he had ever heard her form sentences on her own without it being the repetition of something she had heard, except the night before, right after the dreamwalk. Kerry was thinking for herself.
As soon as they came in, Sherman lifted his head and wagged his tail, tongue hanging out. Bailey had told him to lie down and stay after he ate, so Shermy stayed, but when he saw a person he liked, he did everything he could to get their attention so they would tell him it was okay to get up. He wanted to be a good dog, but he also really wanted to greet Dylan and his new friend. There were lots of interesting smells that came in with the new guy. For the time being, Shermy stayed where he was, because he was a good dog.
