FIC: What's waiting (David/Gregg)

Um. Remember that drabble request meme I posted a million years ago? I'm still working on them. I'm a terribly slow writer. Forgive me? ♥

What's waiting
Requested by the lovely folkloric_feel. PG-13; 700 words.
Summary: Selena interrupts David and Gregg’s alone time. (David/Gregg)

-

When David finally manages to get Gregg alone, they’re in his-David’s-dressing room, the door flat against Gregg’s back as David kisses down his throat.

He’s surprised when Gregg’s fingers are on him, clutching his shirt tightly, and tugging him closer. “Wanted me that bad, huh?” David whispers against his ear.

Gregg shuts his eyes, flushing, “David,” he whimpers, impatiently. David kisses him deeply, hands on his hips as he leads Gregg away from the door and across the room.

When they reach the couch, hands brushing over each other as they frantically tug at each other’s clothes-David’s fly undone and Gregg’s shirt pulled loose-someone knocks on the door. Gregg jolts against him, eyes darting to the door. David swallows thickly. Then they hear Selena’s voice. “David, hey, you in there?”

“She can't know we're in here,” David says, voice low.

“I know you’re in there,” Selena’s voice rings.

David glares at the door. Gregg laughs quietly, his hand warm against David's neck. He shivers as Gregg's hand slides down until his palm is flat on his chest, he pushes him away gently. “I really think you should get that.”

“Uh,” David really doesn't want to let go, but Gregg is already trying to fix his shirt, so he gets up, attempts at fixing himself up quickly, and hopes to god his hard on isn't that noticeable when he opens the door.

“May I help you?” He asks, unable to hide his annoyance.

Selena opens her mouth but then she pauses, gives him the once over, and then quirks an eyebrow. “Who you got in there?”

He straightens against the door frame. “And what makes you think I would have anyone in here?” He asks archly.

She tugs on his crooked collar, a wicked smile at her lips. “Just a hunch.”

“Just tell me what you want, so I can get back to working out.”

She snorts at his lie. Then she leans in, attempting to peak over his shoulder. “It’s one of the slutty extras, isn’t it? I saw tube top girl eyeing you earlier, and let me just say, I thought you had better taste than-“

“There is no tube top girl, now, please, just go.”

“All boobs and no work makes Jack a manwhore.”

“I thought you were all about the boobs.”

“Ugh. Move.” She pushes her way in, and despite the fact that David considers himself built, and stronger than a wiry teenage girl, Selena is a lot more crafty than he gives her credit for. Before he knows it, she slips under his arm, and he feels a sudden sense of alarm building at the pit of his stomach because even if David doesn’t mind telling the world that he and Gregg have-this-this thing-he’s not sure Gregg is ready just yet.

Then there’s the feeling of satisfaction at the sight of Selena’s gaping mouth.

“Uh, hello, Selena.” Gregg rubs the back of his neck, and looks at her with an embarrassed half-smile. He didn’t do such a good job fixing his shirt, which is still untucked and disheveled, and his lips are much redder than they usually are, smudged red around his lips from where David nipped and kissed him. He’s fucking adorable, David thinks. Then he realizes Selena is staring at him with barely held amusement.

Feeling caught, he breaks away from her gaze. “You needed something?” David asks dryly.

Suddenly, her smile turns sheepish. “Um, no, no there’s nothing-I should probably-”

David grabs her by the shoulders and leads her out the door. “Right,” she says over her shoulder, “I’ll see you guys lat-” David closes the door as soon as he gets her past the threshold.

“That was...strange,” Gregg says.

“She won’t tell anyone,” David assures him as he sits beside him.

Gregg looks at him. “You don’t want anyone to know,” he says, voice quiet.

David blinks. “I don’t care who knows,” he says, without a thought. Gregg watches him, and suddenly David feels nervous. “I just thought-I didn’t how you might feel if-” Gregg leans over and kisses him.

"David," Gregg says against his lips, "Please be quiet."

David laughs. "I can do that."
