That whole section where Drake looks at Josh hurt so much to write, really, my chest was aching when I reread it over and over again. I'm really, really, happy that it came across in the way I wanted it to. I felt there had to be a moment where Josh thought about giving in and there had to be a moment where Drake stopped apologizing, and then I wrote this out of nowhere.
That line was really hard to write. I felt so awful about not having a happy ending, and I felt so...I don't know how else to describe it but weird. I couldn't write a happy, schoompy ending if I tried. And I really, really tried XD.
