Awkward [Insert Animal Here]!
Ok, I'm just updating to say that I have officially had the defining "awkward turtle moment".
So basically, I'm at Juban w/ my family last night, and the girl I had the biggest crush on in middle school sits down right in front of me, with a date, in a booth so that I'm basically staring at her the entire time. Interestingly enough, my family leaves just as soon as she's done using the bathroom so that I pass her in the back hallway, where I casually say hi, expecting some kind of friendly "hey, how'ya been" sort of response. Instead, she just stares at me like I'm crazy, and asks "Do I know you?" and we just stared at each other for a good two seconds before I did the awkward dance and left.
So yeah...that's pretty much it.
