It's here that you can really hear the sound emerge and is gorgeous. I touched briefly on how I felt about the imagery of the mix, with the art and with the lyrics, but it's especially strong in the sound. So much loneliness and thoughts wandering back to each other and *clutches face*

Also, FUCK YOU AGAIN FOR MAKING EVERYTHING PERFECT, I really cannot with this mix WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???? MY LOVE IS SELFISH AND I BET THAT YOURS IS TOO.

1. I love how the singer's voice dips and climbs in this song. The music, too. Just. Fuck. You have no idea how much I absolutely love you for hooking me onto the Villagers like a willing little happy-wiggling worm.

I am so glad you do! It took me forever to be satisfied with that as the last song. It just seemed to be kind of hovery and incomplete, like I was ending on a note of tension and not resolution. But I think that's actually true of the mix as a whole; it doesn't go to their happily ever after, just David realizing how he feels and wanting to make things better. BUT THERE IS SO MUCH PAIN BETWEEN THERE AND THEIR HEA. And I super love the line "let's be the people we want to be." Because David does want to be a better person! Because of Iker! And he's okay with that now!
